If someone is incredible, then they deserve to hear it. What better way to share that news than with a bright, shiny card filled with peacock feathers?! When I made this card, I knew the recipient would appreciate the time and effort I put into cutting all these feathers and applying them to the card base. I had fun with this one! ♥ Here’s my card that features products from Stampin’ Up!’s Noble Peacock Suite:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Royal Peacock. The sentiment is from the Royal Peacock stamp set (there are some really great sentiments in this set, so you should check them all out), and the cropped peacock feathers are from the coordinating Detailed Peacock Dies. Here’s a closer look at the Royal Peacock Bundle from Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog:
The Royal Peacock Bundle (and the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper I used to crop the peacock feathers) are all found in the Noble Peacock Suite of products – you can peruse all of these times in my online store by clicking on the image below:
- Color Inspiration. The colors on my celebratory card were pulled right from the foil-accented, jewel-toned pages of the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer series Paper I used to crop the feathers. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper:

If you like this combination of Old Olive, Blueberry Bushel and Pretty Peacock as much as I do, please save this for future reference:
- More Inspiration with Royal Peacock. While this is the first time I’ve shared a project with the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper, I’ve shared the stamps and dies from the Royal Peacock Bundle. You can click on either of these photos to see my original post for each:

Some people love to make cards, and some people love to make tags. Most people love to make both! To deliver more of what Paper Pumpkin subscribers love this holiday season, Stampin’ Up! is offering back-to-back coordinating kits (one with Christmas cards and one with Christmas tags) in October (sign up before October 10) and November (sign up between October 11 and November 10). Both kits make it easy for you to add a handmade, personal touch to your holiday giving—without a lot of fuss.
To read more about these coordinating kits, click here.
I really want you to sign up for these kits because I believe they are going to be wonderful. If you subscribe with me (or are currently subscribed with me) and receive both the October and November kits, then I will send you a small gift of coordinating products as soon as the November kit ships (it might be products from the catalog or a little kit I’ve pulled together with the stamps from the first kit). How fun is that?!

Knock me over with a feather! That’s such a classy card!
Thank you so much, Mary! I love these feathers, too. Always happy to hear from you.
Love the background you designed with this die! Great card!
Thank you so much, Windy! These dies are amazing.
YOU and this card are INCREDIBLE.
♥ Thanks, Kadie!
Best use of this feather die that I have seen. Love this “background” design. What did you choose for adhesive? Spectacular design.
Thanks so much, Linda! I used the adhesive sheets we used to sell (bought them up before they retired), but the Fine Tip Glue Pen or Tombow should work, too. It can get tricky with the little edges if everything is not glued down, so you have to get good coverage. 🙂
Your card is stunning, Brian. I love those the foil papers for the feathers. Enjoy your day!
Thanks, Hilda! The foil papers are divine. Always love to hear from you.
The color combination you used today is candy for the eyes. This card has to bring a smile to anyone who sees it. Just plain gorgeous.
Thank you so much, Grace! I loved working with these colors, too. They were especially nice against this panel of white. Glad you like it.
Don’t know how long you had to play with the composition of this card, but it is perfection!
Thank you so much! It moved around on my desk for a while before I landed on this layout. I am pretty happy with how it turned out and am so glad you like it, too! ♥
Wow, what a brilliant and creative card. I love how you displayed the peacock feathers in the first card, it is so lovely.
Thank you so much, Jeremiah! I love the shine of this paper. Glad you like the card. 🙂
