DAY FIVE: 2019 Holiday One-for-One Card Swap

Today I’m so excited to share another batch of beautiful cards from my 2019 Holiday One-for-One Card Swap. Over the past month, I’ve been running to my mail box to collect the GORGEOUS cards for my swap. In a series of several posts over the next week, I will share each of these beautiful cards with everyone. There’s so much wonderful inspiration to share!

Holiday One-for-One Swap 2019, Day 5, Stampin' Up!Today’s projects all showcase super-fun folds. How fun! I don’t have instructions for all of these fancy fold, but I’m sure you can find more information online. I love these swaps because they showcase beautiful projects from card makers at ALL SKILL LEVELS – some are brand new to the craft, and others have been creating for years. Please look them over, admire their beauty and then let the creators know how beautiful their cards are (I already know you’ll be kind with your comments, but I am going to request it, anyway).

If you participated in the swap and don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment about that card when it shows up on my blog – that way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments.

  2. Lovin’ all the talent and holiday joy!

  3. Fun folds and pocket cards are always pleasing to the eye because it’s a surprise to the recipient. Ladies you have done an excellent job of layering which is my favorite thing to do. Brian, thank you for showing two images when need to see the inserts! Congrats to all!

  4. These are awesome! These have inspired me to do more fancy folds, most definitely!

  5. I love a fun fold, though I rarely make them myself. You are all quite creative! Sharon’s paper bag mug tag card is quite amazing too. What a great way to dress up an inexpensive paper item!

  6. I love all the different folds on display today. I bet they were a lot of fun to make. I really do need to try a few of these as I have only been doing flat fold cards and really need to expand on my stamping. Wonderful job ladies, they are all beautiful.

  7. Paulette Berkbigler

I was delighted to “unwrap” Marsha Lotze’s beautiful holiday card! The miniature trees, deer, and bears mirror the woodland creatures in the Toile Tidings designer paper — that plus the fun fold Marsha used to create this card combine to make this the perfect way to share Christmas greetings! Thanks, Marsha, for sharing your creativity with us! Thank you, Brian, for hosting this event & for all the time & energy you have invested to make it such a great experience for all of us ?

    • I was very lucky to receive Paulette Berkbigler’s fun fold card. I like that Brian is trading between two of us on our swaps. Paulette your pretty Christmas card is so sweet. I hadn’t purchased the newer squares set as I had an older one. Now receiving your card, the set is on my wish list!! I really had fun using the Toile Tidings designer paper and once I got the fold ready to decorate, I had fun adding the animals and now I wish I’d added the antlered deer. Thanks again to Brian for doing these swaps and all the time you spend spreading joy to all of us.

  8. LOVE LOVE LOVE all the fun folds and special display cards. And I am equally in love with the way you have curated the swap, Brian. Thanks for all your hard work in hosting and displaying everyone’s work. This has been a really fun parade of creativity.

Lots of great fun fold ideas! I received Donna Vadney’s snowman pocket card. So, so cute and actually has a place on the back of the pull out card for a photo. Such a great idea! Thanks, Brian, for coordinating this fun swap!

  12. Beautiful creativity! Thanks for sharing.

  13. I was so blessed to receive Ms Kevin Boyer’s card! It was a pleasant surprise to find a fun fold inside. I rarely make them, so this was extra special. She did a great job with all of the papers and embellishments, too! Thank you!!
