Amour with Parisian Dies

It’s been a rainy, yucky weekend in Atlanta. As a nod to the gray skies, I decided to make a black-white-and-gray card, but this card isn’t gloomy or yucky at all. With just a little pop of pink, this card is romantic, sweet and beautiful, don’t you think? Prepare to be moonstruck by this sweet card with the brand new Parisian Dies:

Parisian Dies, Parisian Beauty, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingOn Thursday, CAS(E) This Sketch kicked off a new challenge with a sketch I submitted. My design today goes a little off base from the sketch, but the inspiration is definitely there. Here’s the banner for the challenge that inspired my card:CTS353On Thursday, I shared my card with this sketch for this challenge. • Parisian Beauty. The Parisian Beauty Bundle is one of two gorgeous bundles featured in the Parisian Blossoms Suite in the newly released January – June 2020 Mini Catalog. The set features romantic sentiments, the Eiffel Tower, and a fleur de lis that are perfect for cards, scrapbooks or other fun projects. The dies are a beautiful accompaniment to the stamp set (or, as is the case with my card today, can be used alone). • No Stamps, Three Dies. Although I set out to feature both the Parisian Beauty stamp set and the coordinating Parisian Dies, I ended up with a card that showcased no ink and no stamps. My card is completely made of paper and dies with a little adhesive and a single Mini Stampin’ Dimensional to hold it all together. Here’s a closer look: Parisian Dies, Parisian Beauty, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingHere are the three sets of dies I used to build this card (each can be clicked on in the listing at the base of my post):
    • Parisian Dies
    • Layering Circles Dies
    • Stitched Be Mine Dies
  • Between Black and White. While black and white play an important role in this card, it’s the tones of gray and color between the two extremes that really set the mood for this card. I love the mix of grays and the tiny, subtle pop of pink here. If you like this combination of Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray as much as I do, please save this for future reference: Stampin Up! I hope you’ll pop over to the CAS(E) This Sketch site to see the cards by the design team members and to play along with this week’s challenge.
