You Matter with Poppy Moments Dies

The front of Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2020 Mini Catalog is filled with poppies – whether they are stamped, painted or die cut, these gorgeous flowers are everywhere. It’s no mystery, then, why TWO bundles in the catalog are designed around poppies. I used the Poppy Moments Dies (part of the Peaceful Moments Bundle) to build a flower and surrounding leaves, and I’m excited to share it. Here’s my card:Poppy Moments Dies, Around the Corner, Stampin Up!, Brian King

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Peaceful Moments Bundle. Although I didn’t use it on today’s project, you need Peaceful Moments, a beautiful stamp set with lots of great sentiments. You also need the Poppy Moments Dies (featured on my card today). You earn a 10% discount on both when you buy them together, so that helps! ♥ Here’s a look at the Peaceful Moments Bundle:Peaceful Moments Bundle, Stampin' Up! 153824And here’s a closer look at the flower I built on my card with these dies. I cropped the flower with a Calypso Coral base and Poppy Parade detail edge. The center is Crushed Curry. The leaves are a mix of Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.Poppy Moments Dies, Around the Corner, Stampin Up!, Brian KingI have been wanting to use this “YOU MATTER” sentiment from Around the Corner for many months now – I just needed the right time. I am willing to admit that I picked up this set just for this sentiment. Who doesn’t need to hear it every once in a while?
  • Video. Stampin’ Up! has created a wonderful video that walks us through the elements of the Peaceful Poppies Suite and shares some great projects made with the two featured bundles. Enjoy! Peaceful Poppies Video
  • Two Color Combinations. Once I sat back to look at this card, I realized there are more colors on here than I originally thought. As such, I have two color combinations I want to share with you. The first is from the flower – Calypso Coral and Poppy Parade shouldn’t look so grand together, but they do! 5. Dang, Brian—another gorgeous floral card! You do florals so well, as I have said before, but please do MORE of them. I think I may CASE part of your design for my stamp camp this weekend, just with a wintery theme (since we are deep in it up here in Wisconsin).
