Be Inspired by Coordinating Products

It’s time for another Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop – what fun! The Be Inspired Design Team is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world who are excited to share our themed projects with you. I’m so honored to be a part of this group of talented stampers!

For today’s Be Inspired Blog Hop, we are sharing projects inspired by Stampin’ Up!’s Coordination Product Release – a special release of dies and papers that coordinate with products in the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog and with products that are available during Sale-a-Bration. How fun! To see all of these Product Coordination items in my online store, CLICK HERE.

If you aren’t starting the hop here, then you probably just popped over from the amazing project shared by my talented friend Janneke Dijkstra-deJong.

Here’s my project for this Be Inspired Blog Hop:

Pleased as Punch Spring Treats, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThese mini treat boxes are filled with Jordan almonds (who doesn’t love those?). When paired with the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper and the coordinating punches, they are perfect for any Spring event – baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays or Easter.

There are essentially four designs – two with hearts, two with umbrellas, two with small flowers and two with tulips. I want to give you a closer look at each one, but first…let’s look at the papers. All of the paper and images shown above are pulled right from the papers. How fun! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper:

Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 153558Now let’s take a look at each of the designs, along with the coordinating punches:

Pleased as Punch Spring Treats, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe umbrellas and umbrella handles are punched with the Umbrella Builder Punch, available in the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog and part of the Under My Umbrella Bundle. The flip side of the umbrella-printed paper is a pattern of rain drops, making this easy to coordinate.

Pleased as Punch Spring Treats, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe tulip and coordinating leaf are punched with the Tulip Builder Punch, available in the January –  June 2020 Mini Catalog and part of the Timeless Tulips Bundle. The flip side of the tulip-printed paper is a beautiful, green-striped pattern that’s perfect as “grass” for my tulip.

Pleased as Punch Spring Treats, Stampin Up!, Brian KingI punched these three flowers from the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper with the Small Bloom Punch, which you can select for free with a $100 during Sale-a-Bration. The punch also coordinates with the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set in the Sale-a-Bration brochure. The bold strips on the flip side of the paper are perfectly with these flowers. I added a leaf from the tulips page to give these flowers a little more pizzazz!

Pleased as Punch Spring Treats, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe Petal Pink plaid paper provides a great base for the heart that is punched with the Heart Punch Pack. The two-pack of punches also coordinates with the Heartfelt stamp set in the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog.

What do you think? Aren’t these little treat boxes adorable? Here are the products I used to make them:

Papers: Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper  Accessories: Clear Tiny Treat Boxes, Umbrella Builder Punch, Tulip Builder Punch, Small Bloom Punch, Heart Punch Pack, Tear and Tape, Stampin’ Dimensionals

    • That one’s my favorite, too! 🙂 I was originally going to make all of them with umbrellas, but I decided to show the versatility of the paper by making boxes with each. Thanks, Kadie! ♥

    • Hey, Penny! Thanks for your comments! We are doing OK but still alarmed by all that’s going on. I will send you a picture of her card from her blog. 🙂 Take care and be safe! ♥

  7. Brian, thanks so much for your Spring paper share. I am trying to use more DSP on my cards(I tend to hoard), so participating in this share will give me even more reasons to add the gorgeous paper to my cards. I look forward to getting busy with my new papers.

  8. These little “gifts” are so dang cute that I may make some even though I don’t have anyone to share them with here. I love the Jordan almonds and actually buy myself a bag every year then tell the hubs that the bunny must have left them for me. LOL Great little gift idea, beautiful colors and cute as can be. Thanks for sharing Brian.

    • That’s so cute, Grace! I loved making these even though I didn’t have anyone to give them to, either. They sure are festive – even if we can only look at them until Easter. ♥

  9. These are so cute Brian…so bright and cheery!

  10. Sweet as can be! Beautiful pastels!

  11. What a great gifts have you made 😉

  12. These are sooo cute Brian. The party planner in me is overjoyed at how you’ve coordinated the Jordan Almonds with the DSP.

    • 🙂 Thanks, Tanya! I don’t typically associate a smell with candy, but these things smell SOOOO good. I couldn’t have been happier with the color coordination, either. ♥

  13. Oh I love your treat boxes Brian and like Tanya love how the almonds co-ordinate perfectly with the DSP x

    • Thank you so much, Angela! I didn’t have to look hard for candies that coordinated (it’s Spring here), and I couldn’t have been happier. Fun hop! ♥
