Goodbye, Grapefruit Grove!

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators get a peek at the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog this week – and I’m most excited to get a look at the new 2020-2022 In Colors. Stampin’ Up!’s color families (Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals) are great, but the trendy, here-for-only-two-years In Colors are always a treat.

Unless there’s a color refresh this year (we won’t know until Wednesday), we’ll be saying goodbye to all five of Stampin’ Up!’s 2018-2020 In Colors: Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch.

Stampin' Up!'s 2018-2020 In Colors Sad to see them go but excited for what’s to come! Once it is confirmed that these colors are retiring, the related products (inks, papers, ribbons) will go fast, so don’t miss out on the ones you love! Over the next week, I’ll be sharing new projects and inspiration that feature these five colors. We’re starting with Grapefruit Grove.

Grapefruit Grove, Stampin' Up! 2018-2020 In ColorGrapefruit Grove has a subtle softness that sweet and refreshing. I’ve used this color a lot over the past two years and created a new project to share with you today:

Accented Blooms, By the Dock, Breathtaking Bouquet, Stampin Up!, Brian KingMy card features three stamp sets – one from the 2019 Annual Catalog and two from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog. The floral arrangement on the top Whisper White panel is Accented Blooms – a Tailored Tag Punch fits nicely in the design, but I’ve covered it up with a larger circle for my sentiment. The base of flowers is from Breathtaking Bouquet, a background stamp from the Mini Catalog. The sentiment is found in By the Dock stamp set – I love this sentiment!
