Introducing Stampin’ Up!’s 2020-2022 In Colors

This is a great time to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! Not only were we able to download the 2020 Annual Catalog this week, but we have had the joy of hanging out with the new 2020-2022 In Colors. Demonstrators will be able to order select products from the new catalog in May before the catalog goes live to customers in June.  BUT…you have a chance to play with the new colors, too – more on that later.

I’m excited to share the new colors with you today – and I know you are going to LOVE them. Here are Stampin’ Up!’s 2020-2022 In Colors:

I can’t wait to order my papers and inks and accessories and put these gorgeous colors to use. The best way to show you how these colors fit into our current color families is to show you how they look right next to colors we already know. It might also help to show how they work with other colors you know and love. Here are my thoughts on each of these amazing, new colors and some comparisons to colors already in our color families:

BUMBLEBEE

We got our first peek at Bumblebee in the recently early-released Ornate Garden Suite. It’s such an earthy yellow with soft, misty tones. As you can see below, Bumblebee is warmer, dustier yellow than Daffodil Delight but isn’t quite as rich as Crushed Curry:

Bumblebee Color Comparisons, Stampin Up!Playing with the warmth of this new yellow, I mixed Bumblebee with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso for a gorgeous combination – I could hug this combination of warm tones.

CINNAMON CIDER

I love when Stampin’ Up! offers neutral tones in the In Colors – and Cinnamon Cider is a sweet, copper-toned colors that’s going to quickly become a favorite. Here’s how Cinnamon Cider compares with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede:

JUST JADE

While jade typically refers to a bright green, Just Jade has some aqua tones that make it similar to other colors that make it similar to some of our aqua blues – but this is definitely a green. Here’s how this new Just Jade compares with Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay:

Just Jade Color Comparisons, Stampin Up!While there’s a lovely brightness to Just Jade, I paired it with Blushing Bride and Seaside Spray, which softened the colors just a bit. MAGENTA MADNESS

If you love vibrant pinks, you are going to go mad for Magenta Madness (see what I did there?). Here’s how this new stunner compares with some other bright pinks – Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo:

MISTY MOONLIGHT

I don’t want to say I already have a favorite, but I’m already crushing on Misty Moonlight. This blue is a perfect mix of rich, bright and soft – Misty Moonlight has it all. Here’s how Misty Moonlight compares with two popular blues – Pacific Point and Night of Navy:
