Peace, Love and Joy with Classic Christmas

I’ve made a trio of simple cards I’m excited to share with you today. These Christmas cards feature the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, the Playful Alphabet Dies and a simple layout that’s perfect for quick-and-easy cards. Here are my cards:

Peace Love and Joy with Classic Christmas, Stampin Up! Brian KingDo you see the similarity between these three cards? They can be sent individually, but they make a wonderful collection, don’t you think?

Here’s a closer look at each of these three cards:

Peace with Classic Christmas, Stampin Up! Brian King Love with Classic Christmas, Stampin Up! Brian King Joy with Classic Christmas, Stampin Up! Brian KingWhile the sentiments might fight for your attention, the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is the star of these cards – the colors and patterns inform each of the designs and allow me to quickly mix-and-match patterns for these fun cards. This pack of papers is only offered for a limited time (they go away on January 4) – even if you don’t use them for THIS YEAR’S Christmas projects, they won’t be around next year, so consider getting them today. ♥

Here’s a look a the colors and patterns in the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:

The sentiments on these cards were built with the Playful Alphabet Dies – one of my favorite (and most used) products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2020 Annual Catalog. Here’s a look at these incredible dies:

Playful Alphabet Dies, Stampin Up! 152706 I cropped these letters from the corresponding cardstock and then again with the Foam Adhesive Sheets that give perfectly-shaped dimensional support to each die. I pealed off one side of the sheet, fitted the cardstock-cropped die on top and then poked that all out of the Foam Adhesive Sheet. So easy! Here’s a look at the must-have Foam Adhesive Sheets:

Foam Adhesive Sheets, Stampin Up!, 152815If you studied the three cards, you can see I created the trio with a simple design that incorporates each of the three colors in the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) – (1) the base, base layer of DSP and letters used to build the sentiment, (2) The 3″ x 3″ square of DSP and (3) the band across each 3″ x 3″ square. If you like this mix of Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:Stampin Up!
