Happy Thoughts with Oh So Ombre

The FabFriday challenge that goes live today offers us a simple sketch that’s perfect for nearly any card. How many different projects could you make with two offset rectangles? The layout is perfect for beautiful scenes, large images or beautiful Designer Series Papers. I chose to showcase a beautiful sentiment on a gorgeous panel of Designer Series Paper. Here’s my oh-so-Bermuda-Bay card:

We could all use more happy thoughts these days, huh? When Stampin’ Up! demonstrators reach $1 million in sales, they get to help design a stamp set with Stampin’ Up! creators. While I’m still a looong way from $1 million, I dream about what my stamp set will look like. Happy Thoughts was designed by Jackie Bolhuis after she reached her $1 million sales milestone. Here’s a look:

Happy Thoughts, Stampin Up! 154507Not only does the variety of sentiments make this set wonderful, but the set also gives us some great sentiments for the front and inside of your card. I chose a sentiment that likely should be inside the card, but I think it’s special enough to grace the front. Don’t you love it?!

My card features a Bermuda Bay Base, two panels of Bermuda Bay Designer Series Paper, a sentiment stamped in Bermuda Bay and a Bermuda Bay heart. It’s the gorgeous Oh So Ombre 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration, that sets the tone for all this Bermuda Bay goodness. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this pack of papers:

Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 155225With all that Bermuda Bay, it wouldn’t make sense to add a single, red heart. I continued the monochromatic appeal with a Bermuda Bay heart from the Hearts & Kisses Bundle. How adorable is this heart?

Happy Thoughts, Oh So Ombre, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe Hearts & Kisses Bundle includes the Hearts & Kisses stamp set and coordinating Kiss Punch. Here’s a look at the bundle that gave me a watercolored heart to accompany my sentiment:
