Lots of Heart for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Many of my Stampin’ Up! team members (not only those with blogs) share their gorgeous projects in our team’s Facebook community – there’s such amazing and inspiring creativity in this group! I’m always excited when my team’s blog hop rolls around, though, because I get to share some of their amazing work with you. I’m just as excited to see their projects as you are, and I am proud to share them with you.

01-2021 IRBH HeartsWelcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are having fun with our stamping favorites – our favorite themes for seasonal cards and projects. This month’s projects feature hearts, so prepare yourself for lots and lots of love. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Lots of Heart & Love You Always Treat Box

The project I am sharing with you today is filled to the brim with hearts – and who wouldn’t love to receive a treat box of chocolates with an adorable design? Here’s a look at the project I have created for today’s heart-themed blog hop:

Lots of Heart Bundle, Love You Always Treat Box, Stampin Up!, Brian KingTips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Love You Always Treat Box. In case you missed the Love You Always Treat Boxes, these sweet boxes are found on page 11 of Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2021 Mini Catalog, part of the Love You Always Suite. Here’s a look at these treat boxes: Love You Always Treat Box, Stampin Up! 154285For just $9, you get 10 boxes that measure 4-1/16″ x 2-11/16″ x 1/12″ (perfectly sized for sweet treats or small trinkets). I filled my box with chocolates from Yetter’s Candies, my favorite chocolate shop in Pennsylvania. ♥ How perfect are these chocolate in my treat box?Lots of Heart Bundle, Love You Always Treat Box, Stampin Up!, Brian King
  • Lots of Heart. The top of my treat box designed with a variety of elements from the Lots of Heart Bundle, which includes the Lots of Heart stamp set and coordinating Many Hearts Dies. I absolutely love this bundle (you still have time to order it and have it delivered before Valentine’s Day). Here’s a look at this Lots of Heart Bundle:Lots of Heart Bundle, Stampin Up! 156202I’m going to walk you through each of the Lots of Heart elements on this box top, but FIRST I have a fun-find to share. The top of my box is covered with a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock, perfectly cropped with a Stitched Rectangle Die. That makes it SO EASY to decorate the 10, 20 or 50 Love You Always Treat Boxes you are decorating this year. Here’s a closer look:Lots of Heart Bundle, Love You Always Treat Box, Stampin Up!, Brian KingI stamped the dotted heart from the Lots of Heart stamp set all over the Poppy Parade background. I added a Pear Pizzazz floral heart cut from the Many Hearts Dies. The next layer is a combination of two hearts – one Blushing Bride heart cropped with a heart (shown in the bottom, left of the product image) and the dotted heart (shown inside a square along the right side of the product image). I added a Poppy Parade heart below that to allow Poppy Parade to pop through and to mimic the Poppy Parade dots in the background.
  • Color Combination. There are a lot of elements on this project that make it special, but the color combination is quite a standout. I love the mix of soft green and soft pink with such a bold, bright shade of red. If you like this mix of Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference: Stampin Up!
