Life Can Get Kinda Prickly with with Flowering Cactus

Before I share today’s card, I want to thank the Freshly Made Sketches team (and specifically Jen Timko) for selecting my card as an Honorable Mention in last week’s challenge. I love playing along with challenges for great inspiration and always love the projects made by the design team members. Even though it’s never expected, it’s always nice to be recognized. You can see my card for last week’s challenge here.

While I’ve been playing with the new Butterfly Bouquet products this week, I’m taking a break for butterflies today to play with another GREAT collection – this one’s from Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2021 Mini Catalog. Here’s my card with the Flowering Cactus Product Medley:

If you aren’t yet sold, take a look at the gorgeous colors and patterns in the 6″ x 6″ Designer Series that’s a part of this Product Medley:

Flowering Cactus Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian KingWhile there are some sweet colors in this paper, I used three panels on my card that showcase the greens in the Flowering Cactus 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. You can bet I’ll be using the more colorful patterns, too, but I felt this card needed the greens with the “prickly” sentiment. Here’s a closer look:
