Happy About Stampin’ Up!’s 2021-2023 In Colors

Even when things are really hard, we always have so much to be happy for. I used Stampin’ Up!’s 2021-2023 In Colors (they make me happy) to build a very happy card for the FabFriday challenge that kicks off today. The challenge encourages us to use all five (or some) of the In Colors – Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya – on a card. I put them all together for a very happy card:

I put my new colors in a different order from the FabFriday lineup, but they are all there. Here’s the banner for the challenge that inspired my card:

FabFri214Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Brushed Blooms. The paint splotch that appears five times and in five colors on my card is from the Brushed Blooms stamp set from Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2021 Mini Catalog. I stamped the same wide watercolor image five times, alternating direction each time. Here’s a look at the Brushed Blooms Bundle:Brushed Blooms Bundle, Stampin Up!, 156231This fun bundle is not in Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog, so it’s only available through June 30 while supplies last.
  • Playful Alphabet and Painted Texture. After I stamped the paint splashes with the new In Colors, I cropped the letters for “HAPPY” from Thick Basic White with the Playful Alphabet Dies. Such fun! They were easy to line up inside the paint splotches. It might look as though they are stenciled into the paint or cut from the panel of paper, but they are simply added on. Here’s a closer look: Brushed Blooms, Playful Alphabet Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian KingTo accent the brushed paint images on the focal panel of my card, I added a 4″ x 5-1/4″ embossed panel of Polished Pink cardstock to the Polished Pink base of my card. The Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder gave me just what I needed to add the perfect touch. Here’s a look at this incredible embossing folder: Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin Up! 154317
  • More with the In Colors. I’ve been playing with the new In Colors since I could first get my hands on them – and I’m in love with the entire collection. That’s not always the case, but it’s definitely the case this year. What fun! There’s no better offering in Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog than the 2021-2023 In Color Ink Bundle (if this bundle isn’t already in your home on its way to your home, then you are behind the ball): 2021-2023 In Color Stampin Pads Bundle, Stampin Up! 155638If these new colors are still new to you, you can read more here:

Brian, these colors are beautiful, stamping them on your card makes it easier to see how they look on paper, my favorites from the 5 you showed today are “Polished Pink” and “Fresh Fressia”.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Stay healthy and safe.

    • Thank you so much, Maria! I think it’s a lovely collection of colors, too. Polished Pink is quickly becoming a favorite. Hope you have a wonderful day! ♥
