I’ve fallen in love with the sweet images and sentiments in the Little Delights stamp set, new in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2021 Mini Catalog (see page 59 of your new catalog). The set covers a variety of holidays and celebrations, so it only feels right to make a collection of cards with the set. I played around with several options and decided to create five note cards with five colors for five occasions. Here are my cards:
I’m going to give you a closer look at each card, but first…let’s take a look at the Little Delights stamp set that I used for each of these cards:
You might have also noticed that each of the five cards features a sentiment and image from the Little Delights stamp set AND a 2020-2022 In Color. You noticed that, right? Here’s a quick look at this incredible collection of In Colors:
Here’s a closer look at each of the cards, along with the occasion they represent and the color I used for each:
All-Occasion Gratitude, Bumblebee
Thanksgiving/All-Occasion Gratitude, Cinnamon Cider
Christmas, Just Jade
Birthday, Magenta Madness
Halloween, Misty Moonlight
I stamped off the images on each card once to yield a lighter image on these note cards. The sentiments are stamped with a full concentration of the coordinating ink. Each of these note cards also features a couple of products I want to point out:
- Each 4-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ panel of Basic White is framed with a coordinating cardstock.
- Each panel is adorned with three 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems – such a fun accent on these cards!
- Each card is designed with a band of 2020-2022 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper behind it. The horizontal bands on the landscape cards are 1-1/4″ tall. The horizontal bands on the portrait cards are 3-1/4″ tall.
I slightly altered the placement of the focal panels on each card to add a little excitement. Oh, the fun!
