Spreading a Little Sunshine

Sale-a-Bration has come to an end, and I’ll soon be back to showcasing Holiday cards for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Before I do, though, I am excited to share a fun set of tags that were made by Angela Stradling. When she shared these pictures with me, the photos made me smile, so I hope they make you smile, too!

Before I show you what Angela shared with me, here’s a picture of a tag I designed and shared with you back in June (the tag was designed and created for customer gifts I was sending out). Lots of happiness in this sweet tag! You can click on the photo to see my original post for this project:

To celebrate the kickoff of the school year, Angela and friends made sunny tags to accompany packets of school supplies (a notebook, crayons, colored pencils, a pencil bag, pencils, a pencil sharpener and eraser tops). The kits are given by a program in her area – how incredible is that!?

Sharing Sunshine, Celebrate with Flowers, Stampin Up!, Angela Stradling As a kid, I always loved new school supplies – not much has changed for me over the years. I know these children love their new supplies, and I suspect they also appreciate their encouraging, bright-and-sunny tags.

Sharing Sunshine, Celebrate with Flowers, Stampin Up!, Angela StradlingAfter making all of those tags for the school supplies, Angela made MORE of the tags to include on gifts to the faculty and staff at her son’s school:

Sharing Sunshine, Celebrate with Flowers, Stampin Up!, Angela StradlingWho wouldn’t love to receive these adorable, thoughtful gifts?! I’m so inspired by Angela’s kindness with these gifts, and I’m honored I could play a small part in bringing these tags to life (all I did was design them).

The tags feature two new sets in Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog – the sun and sunbeams are stamped with the Sharing Sunshine stamp set, and the sentiment is stamped with the Celebrate with Flowers stamp set. There couldn’t be a more sunny combination than these two!

Here are the products I used to make these tags:

Stamp Sets: Sharing Sunshine, Celebrate with Flowers Papers: Thick Basic White, Daffodil Delight Inks: Daffodil Delight, Cinnamon Cider, 2020-2023 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers Accessories: Scalloped Contours Dies, Layering Circles Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals

What do you think of Angela’s gift tags?! How thoughtful are these gifts?!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Brian

  9. What a lovely project! And yes, what kid doesn’t get excited about new school supplies. And I am with you, for years I have been going to the office supply in August or September for my “new work supplies”. There is just something satisfying about looking through everything in the store and getting new stuff and re-organizing my desk for a fresh start after summer. I know just how wonderful these kids are going to feel getting these colorful packages with that darling tag.

  10. Lovely idea! Treats for all!
