Christmas Wishes with Stitched Snowflakes

When I design cards, I usually have the recipient in mind – one of the things I love most about creating cards is that I can create the exact card I want to send to a loved one. Sometimes, though, I create a card with the sole purpose of showcasing an idea or a gorgeous product. Today is one of those days. Here’s my card that showcases three products I love so much right now:

Watercolor Shapes, Banner Year, Stitched Snowflakes Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian King

When I was playing with the Watercolor Shapes for the kissing project I shared with you on Tuesday (you can see that project here), I wanted to build a window-like image with the square or rectangle in this set. Here’s a look at the Watercolor Shapes that created the soft panels on my card:

Watercolor Shapes, Stampin Up! 156968I stamped three rectangles along the focal panel of my card with Pool Party. Don’t they look like ice-cold windows? I love the watercolored effect.

The small, but sweet, sentiment on my card is pulled from the Banner Year stamp set, a carryover stamp set in the 2021 Annual Catalog that covers a wide variety of holidays and occasions. This set has become a favorite go-to for me. Here’s a look at Banner Year:

Banner Year, Stampin Up!, 158239I cropped the sentiment with the thin, long rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I was planning to use a larger sentiment, but that sentiment covered my snowflakes too much! Can’t have that!

That brings me to the star of this card – I showcase all five of the stitched snowflakes from the Stitched Snowflakes Dies, part of the Merry Snowflakes Bundle. You might think you already have snowflakes and that you don’t need these, but I REALLY love these (so glad I got them!). Here’s a look at the Merry Snowflakes Bundle:

Merry Snowflakes Bundle, Stampin Up!, 156792I painted each of the die-cut snowflakes with my Wink of Stella Glitter Pen before gluing them down to give them a gorgeous, glittery shimmer (without the mess).

Stamp Sets: Watercolor Shapes, Banner Year  Papers: Pool Party, Misty Moonlight, Thick Basic White  Inks: Pool Party, Misty Moonlight  Accessories: Stitched Snowflakes Dies, Stitched Rectangles Dies, Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals

I hope you like the project I shared today and will leave me a comment below. ♥

Thanks for stopping by today!
