Yesterday I offered a Blog Candy Giveaway for the Bright Baubles Bundle. Brian’s Bright Baubles Bundle Blog Candy Giveaway – say that five times fast! There’s still time to leave a comment on that past for a chance to win the bundle (even if you commented yesterday) – to enter, CLICK HERE.
As promised yesterday, I’ve created another project that showcases this fun bundle, and I’m happy to share it with you today. While the other projects (showcased in yesterday’s post) showcase the amazing Delicate Baubles Dies, today’s project also showcases the coordinating Bright Baubles stamp set. Here’s my card:
The ornament and sentiment are pulled from the Bright Baubles Bundle, which I’m giving away in my Blog Candy Giveaway this weekend. Here’s a look at this bundle that I’ve enjoyed FAR MORE than I expected I would (and I still have some ideas brewing):
I didn’t add a lot of color to the large ornament on the face of my card, but the technique for adding the color is worth mentioning. I stamped the ornament with Cherry Cobbler ink on Poppy Parade cardstock and cropped it with the Delicate Baubles Die from the bundle. I colored select elements of the ornament with my Poppy Parade and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends to give a little depth to the beautiful image. Here’s a closer look:
I hung my ornament on a Shaded Spruce pine branch from the Christmas Pinecone Dies, part of the Christmas to Remember Bundle, and framed it with a gorgeous panel from the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper. I added a Cherry Cobbler bow for good measure. Here’s a look at the Christmas to Remember Bundle:
And here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper:
Bundles: Bright Baubles Stamp Sets: Bright Baubles Papers: Painted Christmas, Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler, Basic White Inks: Cherry Cobbler, Versamark, Stampin’ Blends (Poppy Parade, Cherry Cobbler) Accessories: Delicate Baubles Dies, Christmas Pinecone Dies, White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

What a pretty card! I am impressed with the vision you have to assemble so many layers of color and pattern. My biggest challenge is choosing elements for a design. Well done, Brian!

Always good ideas and great color combos from you.
This is a terrific design! I love the balance of the large ornament against the smaller scale of the DSP. Even the way you balanced the large red ornament against the bold dark green is stunning. It all comes together in a really appealing visual design. Well done!
Love this card!
Very pretty card. Love the technique of stamping one color over another similar color. Enjoy your day!
Such a pretty card, and so traditional. This set could be used year after year!
