Sending Hugs for the InKing Royalty Blog

Many of my Stampin’ Up! team members (not only those with blogs) share their gorgeous projects in our team’s Facebook community – there’s such amazing and inspiring creativity in this group! I’m always excited when my team’s blog hop rolls around, though, because I get to share some of their amazing work with you. I’m just as excited to see their projects as you are, and I am proud to share them with you.

InKing Royalty Blog Hop - Harvest & HopeWelcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are having fun with our stamping favorites – our favorite themes for seasonal cards and projects. This month’s projects center around Harvest & Hope, so prepare yourself for gratitude and love in Fall-themed projects. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Sending Hugs

The card I’m sharing with you today embraces both the “harvest” and “hope” elements of this blog hop theme. I’ve built my card around warm, Fall colors that I love so much (Merry Merlot and Soft Suede) and emblazoned my card with a big sentiment that offers love and hope to the recipient. Here’s my card:

Layering Hugs Dies, Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe sentiment and beautiful floral arrangement around the sentiment showcase the Layering Hugs Dies from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog. The Dies coordinate with stamps in the Sending Hugs stamp set and are sold separately or as a bundle (the bundle earns you a 10% discount when you buy both together). Here’s a look at the Sending Hugs Bundle:

Sending Hugs Bundle, Stampin Up! 155859I cropped the arrangement of leaves and flowers from Designer Series Paper using the largest die in the Layering Hugs Dies. To achieve a rich and filled-with-Autumn-colors cutout, I reached for the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper. What a gorgeous pack of papers! I mounted the gorgeous cutout on another design from the same pack of papers.

Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper:

Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 155841In case you missed it (you don’t miss anything, so I’m not really sure why I just said that), I used the second and fourth patterns on the bottom of the image above. What a great mixture! It’s rare that I make a card with no inks and no stamps, but I don’t think this one called for either. The incredible dies and papers gave me everything I needed to make the card I’ve shared with you today.
