It’s time for another Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop – what fun! The Be Inspired Design Team is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world who are excited to share our themed projects with you. I’m so honored to be a part of this group of talented stampers!
For today’s Be Inspired Blog Hop, we are sharing projects that with a Happy Holidays theme. I imagine you are going to see gorgeous, Christmas-themed creations (one can never find enough inspiration for Christmas!) from this global design team, but I took a little bit of a different turn. We hope our projects inspire you and that you leave with lots of fun ideas! If you aren’t starting the hop here, then you probably just popped over from the amazing project shared by my talented friend Carolynn Sander.
Much Gratitude
Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving (my favorite of all the holidays) in the United States, I couldn’t NOT share a gratitude-themed project for today’s Happy Holidays Hop. I paired a beautiful sentiment with two panels of GORGEOUS Specialty Designer Series Paper for a warm, Fall-themed thank you. Here’s my card:+
The two panels on my card feature pages from the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper – such a beautiful collection of colors and images for Fall! The base panel mixes Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso, while the top panel is a mix of Early Espresso and gold foil. The background of this top panel is an off-white that almost looks silver. Here’s a closer look at the patterns and colors in the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper:
This paper has been one of the most popular I can remember. It sold out quickly when the catalog was first released and was quickly restocked. It sold out again and was restocked. Then it…you see where this is going, right? It’s currently unavailable in the United States, but there’s a new shipment arriving next week (the week of November 29). If you didn’t listen to me the last time I told you to quickly order this paper, then you’ll want to be ready to place an order next week. ♥
The “much gratitude” sentiment is a beautifully written sentiment from the Heartfelt Wishes stamp set, new in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. While the sentiments are focused on Christmas, many can be used throughout the year. Here’s a look at this stamp set:
I don’t normally like to cut off an image with a die, but this Stitched Rectangles Die cropped my sentiment evenly, allowing the flourishes at the beginning and end of the sentiment to flow right off the rectangle. I added a white frame, which allowed the heat-embossed sentiment to melt right into the frame.
It might seem strange to reach for the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper and then make a card with no stitch of Blackberry Bliss in it. These two panels are just SO beautiful that I couldn’t resist. While Blackberry Bliss is a beautiful color for Fall, I really love this mix of warm colors. If you like the combination of Gold Foil, Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
I’m so glad you stopped by today, and I hope you like the projects I’ve shared. I hope you’ll continue the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop to see more projects by my awesome friends – I’m sure you’ll love them. The next stop is my dear friend Stesha Bloodhart. Brian, this DSP is so beautiful, I love these flowers that looks a lot like Queen Ann’s Lace.
And, as always, the layers on the front panel are perfectly arranged to frame these sweet flowers.
The sentiment font is beautiful as well, this stamp set might make me break my resolution of not getting any new stuff😁
Thank you for sharing.
Stay healthy and safe.
Hugs.
Maria.
Maria, it is great to see a comment from you. The other day I was wondering how you are because I hadn’t seen a post from you in quite a while. I hope you have been well. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Today’s card belongs in an art museum! If I received this card I would put it in a photo frame. It IS fabulous!

Your card is absolutely perfect Brian, I love how you have layered the DSP and added the sentiment on Early Espresso x
