More Color Combinations with Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper

I love to collect and use Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers. What a great way to find inspiration for our projects! The colors and patterns pair perfectly with other products we love. Since the Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper first debuted in Stampin’ Up!’s January – February 2022 Sale-a-Bration brochure, I have reached for it often. The fun mix of soft and bold colors and oh-so-happy patterns lend themselves to uplifting projects to make us smile. Many of the pages offer great patterns for other projects, too! This is a versatile pack of papers that will come in handy all year. I’m excited to share a bit more about this pack of papers today.

I often pull my colors right from the Designer Series Papers as a starter. That’s a huge benefit of our Designer Series Papers – they are designed with the amazing shades in our color families, so the pair perfectly with our cardstock, inks and accessories. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in the Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:

Inspiration

I have really enjoyed working with the pages in the Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I love the colors and patterns – a great mix for great papers – and have several ideas to use some of the other pages. Here are some of my projects with the pages from the Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (you can click on each photo to read the original post about each project):

Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper, Celebrating You, Stampin Up!, Brian King Let's Set Sail Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian King Blessings of Home, Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian King Brilliant Rainbow Dies, Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper, Sweet Little Boxes, Stampin Up!, Brian King

There are some really great prints in this pack of papers – all of these pages are really fun to play with – especially when you add other colors to the colors found in the papers. Today I’m going to share a couple more suggestions for pulling these colors right from the patterns in the Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

Straight from the Papers

These colors are combined from the colors exclusively in this pack of the Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – such a great variety of colors in this pack of papers:

Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - So Saffron, Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo

Combined with Other Colors

By adding one other color to the shades in these papers, you can really transform the feel of the pages – or create all new combinations with inspiration from the paper. Here are some color combinations starters that feature two colors from this pack of papers and one color from outside the pack:

Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Misty Moonlight Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Fresh Freesia, Magenta Madness, Bermuda Bay

By limiting the colors you’ll use in a project (or expanding the colors to those outside a pack of papers), you can really find some beautiful color combinations for our projects.
