Thanks with Abstract Beauty

I love a square card, but they can be more expensive to mail if you mail them in a square envelope. A 4-1/4″ square card, though, perfectly fits in a medium envelope so you can avoid that additional charge. Yay! Here’s a quick-and-easy, square thank you card I made to share with you today:

Amazing Thanks Dies, Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian King, thank you cardI’ve really enjoyed playing with the fun patterns in the Abstract Beauty Specialty 4″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Not only does this pack, new in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog, offer a new size of papers, but I adore the mix of modern and classic patterns in the pack. Even if gold “isn’t your thing,” you’re going to be in love with it after playing with the pages in this pack of papers. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Abstract Beauty Specialty 4″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:

Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 158039I pulled the eight pattern along the top row for this simple card. I love the brushed mix of Blushing Bride and Magenta Madness on this artistic panel. I wouldn’t normally be drawn to an all-pink page, but I really love this pattern and mix of colors. I added a little Smoky Slate and Vellum to reduce the sweetness of the pinks.

That’s right! I used vellum cardstock to back the “thanks” sentiment on the card. It looks like the Smoky Slate base, but it’s definitely see-through. Here’s a closer look:

Amazing Thanks Dies, Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian King, thank you cardI LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Amazing Thanks Dies, part of the Amazing Silhouettes Bundle in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog. I’ve used it a lot (and there are so many great ways to showcase these dies). Here’s a look at the Amazing Silhouettes Bundle, which includes the Amazing Silhouettes cling stamp set and coordinating Amazing Thanks Dies:

Amazing Silhouettes Bundle, Stampin Up! 157819The Adhesive-Backed Hexagons do not include Magenta Madness hexagons. I used my Magenta Madness Stampin’ Write Marker to color three of the Blushing Bride hexagons before adding them to my card. Magenta Madness retires on May 2 (or when Magenta Madness supplies run out). If you would like to shop the Last Chance Sale for items that card going away, click on the image below:

If you like this mix of Blushing Bride, Magenta Madness and Smoky Slate as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
