Thank You for Your Kindness with Dahlia Days

Before I jump into today’s project, I have a quick public service announcement…

It is possible you have placed your last order from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog – you’ve shopped the discounts in the Last Chance sale and don’t have anything else on your wish list. I know you are excited over Stampin’ Up!’s upcoming 2022 Annual Catalog that launches May 3 (you SHOULD BE excited because it’s truly amazing!). In all of that excitement, though, please don’t forget that the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog is open for business through June 30. This is the first year when these two books will overlap – and there are lots of great goodies in the book.

Don’t forget about this amazing catalog:

Dahlia Days Thank You

Today’s project features three products from Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog that seem to be made for each other. Here’s my card with the Dahlia Days Bundle, rustic Heart & Home Designer Series Paper and Classic Matte Dots:

Dahlia Days Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian King

My card base measures 5-1/2″ x 7″ (scored at 3-1/2″) card – it’s an odd shape (a little slimmer than standard cards, but it will fit inside a standard envelope all the same.

The flowers, leaves and sentiment are all pulled from the Dahlia Days Bundle, which includes the Dahlia Days Cling Stamp Set and Detailed Dahlias Dies. Not only are these sentiments amazing (love the words and love the fonts!), but the images are crisp and beautiful. The coordinating dies are quite amazing. Here’s a look at the Dahlia Days Bundle:

Dahlia Days Bundle, Stampin Up! 157802The dahlias look amazing against the Basic Gray wood panels on this card, don’t you think? Dare I say this paper looks like a shiplap wall you might find on Fixer Upper?! All of the rustic patterns and beautiful colors in the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper:

Heart and Home Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 157928My flowers are stamped with Blackberry Bliss and Calypso Coral and cropped with the Detailed Dahlias Dies. The leaves are stamped with Pear Pizzazz and cropped with the Detailed Dahlias Dies. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark on Basic Gray cardstock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heated it with my Heat Tool. I cropped the sentiment with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

I added three Basic Gray Classic Matte Dots around my flowers and sentiment that help to extend the images across the entire card. Here’s a look at the Classic Matte Dots, which include Basic Black, Basic Gray, Very Vanilla and Basic White dots:
