I was in the Christmas spirit when I sat down to play in the Fungeon last night. I pulled three patterns from two packs of Designer Series Papers in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog to make a sweet, simply layered card with a fun design. The perfect sentiment is just the cherry on top! Here’s my card:

The red and green panels that build the backdrop on this card are pulled from the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper. The small ovals on the Garden Green panel and small circles on the Real Red panel work well together since the base of each layer is a complementing Christmas color. The Balmy Blue strip of snowflake sweater print is pulled from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper. The blue pattern helps to “cut” the sweetness of the rich Christmas pattern below it. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this fun pack of papers:

I love a Christmas sentiment that puts a Christmas song in my head. The “tidings of comfort & joy” sentiment is pulled from the beautiful Hope & Peace stamp set in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog.
