Sending Thanks with Fond of Autumn

When I launched my Blog Candy Giveaway (more about that later), I wasn’t prepared for the number of responses I’d receive – and I certainly wasn’t prepared to learn that SO MANY people would say Fall is their favorite season. It’s my favorite, too! In response, I made a Fall-themed card with the GORGEOUS Fond of Autumn bundle. Here’s my card:

Fond of Autumn Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Fall thank you cardHow gorgeous are these images? The bouquet of flowers is made up of three separate images on one stamp at the heart of the stamp set – and I couldn’t be happier how this card turned out. Here’s a look at the Fond of Autumn Bundle, new in Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog:

Fond of Autumn Bundle, Stampin Up!, 159838I love the sentiments and fonts and images in this stamp set, but there’s something really brilliant about the coordinating Autumn Bouquet Dies – the dies can crop the large arrangement of leaves and flowers at the heart of the set OR crop four separate images from the bundle of flowers. Here’s a graphic I created to showcase the four arrangements that can be cropped from the single image:

Autumn Bouquet Bundle - one stamped image, five die cut options, Stampin Up!, Brian KingI used the flowers (shown in pink above) and the two berry stems (shown in blue and green above) to build the arrangement of flowers at the center of my thank you card. I colored the flowers, leaves and berries with a mix of Stampin’ Blends (So Saffron, Soft Succulent, Mint Macaron and Calypso Coral). I even added a little Pale Papaya to the yellow flowers for an additional layer of color. Here’s a closer look:

Fond of Autumn Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Fall thank you cardThe background behind the flowers and banner is stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink on a Soft Succulent panel of cardstock – I wanted to to be really light. I stamped the large bouquet of flowers over and over and over at varying angles to create an “overstamped” background I love! The texture is beautiful – don’t you think? Here’s a closer look:
