‘Tis the Season with Framed & Festive

I’m really excited to share today’s card with you – I cracked open some AMAZING, new products that arrived this week and couldn’t wait to get started. The products (a mix of early-release and special-release products) are new in October for demonstrators and will be available to customers in November. If you join my team today, you can add them to your Starter Kit! ♥ I’m going to start with the card and then (as you know) tell you all about it. Here’s my card:

Framed & Festive, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Christmas card

My card is stamped with the Framed & Festive stamp set, and the ovals are cropped with the Framed Florets Dies. I love, love, love these sentiments and the style of the font used to create them. Here’s a look at the gorgeous sentiments in Framed & Festive:

Framed & Festive, Stampin Up! 160888I’m crazy for the fonts in this set – crazy. As soon as I saw it, I knew I’d use the “falala.” I stamped it over and over at a diagonal along the base of the Basic White panel to build a fun pattern along the base of my card. I love to stamp sentiments over and over – and I love a good diagonal.

Before we take a closer look at the focal sentiment on my card, let’s look at the soon-to-be-released bundle. Here’s a look at the Framed Florets stamp set and Framed Florets Dies:

Framed Florets Bundle, Stampin Up!I stamped the super-fun “‘Tis the Season to be Jolly” sentiment on Thick Basic White and cropped it with the Framed Florets Dies (I used the large frame on the top row above to crop the oval) and cropped the Shaded Spruce frame with the same dies (I used the oval on the second row). The inside of the Shaded Spruce oval frame is slightly smaller than the Basic White oval, and the outside of the Shaded Spruce oval is slightly larger than the Basic White oval. As such, I could easily glue the green frame on top of the white oval. Yay! Here’s a closer look at the focal sentiment on my card:

The band along the left side of my Shaded Spruce panel is a diagonal-striped page from the Santa Express Designer Series Paper. The pattern works well with the diagonal pattern on my card and with the colors on my card. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Santa Express Designer Series Paper:
