I’m not always right. Now that you’ve picked yourself up off the floor…on my first pass through Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog, I didn’t think I would need the Two-Tone Flora Bundle. I was intrigued by the large floral die, but I thought I’d be OK without it. After hearing how much my team members loved it, I gave it another look and added it to one of my pre-order orders. Here’s a card I made with this INCREDIBLE die:
I covered a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock with an adhesive sheet (to make it easier to clean and glue down) and then cropped the piece with the die. The adhesive sheet also ensures the cut-out is glued down in all places so I could crop the panel. Here’s a look at the Two-Tone Flora Bundle:
Before I glued the floral cutout to a panel of Daffodil Delight cardstock, I used a Blending Brush to apply Daffodil Delight ink to the panel, working my way up from the bottom to create a subtle hombre look on the panel. Here’s a closer look:
I selected a simple sentiment to offset the busy pattern created from the die. Here’s a look at the Happy Labels stamp Bundle that includes the sentiment:
There are two things I want to share about this stamp set/sentiment:
- More options? Have you noticed that several stamp sets in the January – April 2023 Mini Catalog are offered in both Cling and Photopolymer? Happy Labels is one of those sets (noted with a C and P in the products codes in the catalog. The product number for the Cling Bundle is 160694, and the product number for the Photopolymer Bundle is 162384.
- Look familiar? The “THERE’S NO ONE LIKE YOU” sentiment is very similar to the “THERE’S NO ONE QUITE LIKE YOU” sentiment in the Sale-a-Bration Thanks a Bunch stamp set. The modern, clean style is also similar, but the one in the Happy Labels stamp set is a little larger.
I’m a big fan of yellow and gray – you may have noticed? If you like this mix of Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Stamps: Happy Labels Papers: Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Thick Basic White Inks: Daffodil Delight, Memento Tuxedo Black Accessories: Two-Tone Flora Die, Adhesive Sheets, Blending Brush, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Yellow shouts SPRING! The background die is fantastic and I love the simple sentiment!
You are like a catalog detective ! I learn so much from you that I overlook in the catalogs ! I did not pick up that some stamps are offered in both types !
I really like that YAY in the Happy Labels set ! Guess that goes on my list
Your card is a beauty ! Love the yellow !
So pretty and fresh!
Your card is stunning in yellow. The large die makes its own statement and an easy, but beautiful card in minutes. What’s not to love about that!! Enjoy your day!
Fabulous color combo & pretty die!
Details matter. (And not just in this incredible die)—I love that you took the time to sponge the backing daffodil card stock to add interest.
AND double (or is it triple?) —matted the cover plate focal point. (I know, I know—patented King Layering System…) This type of design aesthetic is why your work stands out. Love this card ♥️
