Yesterday I shared a multi-layered card with beautiful panels of the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper. If you missed that card for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop, you can see it here. Today’s card is going to remind you of yesterday’s card – that’s because I used the same measurements from the same pack of papers. I moved some things around a bit, but it should still be recognizable. 🙂 Here’s my card:
If you are comparing the layout on this card to the one I shared yesterday, you’ll notice I shifted the panels to the left side of the focal panel instead of the right. Such innovation! All three of the panels on my card are pulled from the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in this love-themed pack of papers:
I added a heart from the Country Bouquet Punch (part of the Country Bouquet Bundle) and a sentiment from This Birthday Piggy stamp set (first perfectly with the bicycles in the Designer Series Paper, no?). Here’s a look at the Country Bouquet Bundle that coordinates with these papers:
Playing with Designer Series Papers is a favorite past time of mine – I was thrilled when this balance of rectangles, squares and circle worked so well on my first card, so I repeated it on today’s card. Here are the measurements of the layers on my card, starting with the base of the card and working up to the sentiment on this 12-layer card:
- Balmy Blue – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Petal Pink – 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Balmy Blue – 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″
- Petal Pink – 4-7/8″ x 2-5/8″
- Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper – 4-3/4″ x 2-1/4″
- Petal Pink – 2-5/8″ x 3-5/8″
- Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper – 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
- Petal Pink – 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″
- Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper – 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Balmy Blue – cropped with Stylish Shapes Die
- Petal Pink – punched with Country Bouquet Punch
- Thick Basic White – 3/8″ tall
On the card I shared yesterday, the square at the heart of my card was a little bigger – it was a 3″ square instead of a 2-3/4″ square. Today’s square was smaller because I had to balance the images on the panel. Just a small adjustment.
Like yesterday’s card, I accented the finished project with Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins – this time I used Balmy Blue sequins. They were a perfect accent for this card.
Stamps: This Birthday Piggy Papers: Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper, Balmy Blue, Petal Pink, Thick Basic White Inks: Balmy Blue Accessories: Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Country Bouquet Punch, Stylish Shapes Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
I hope you like the card I’ve shared today – this paper is so much fun! ♥
