Wildly Grateful with Like an Animal Specialty Designer Series Paper

Animal prints have been “en vogue” for several years, and they don’t seem to be losing popularity. Stampin’ Up!’s January-April 2023 Mini Catalog offers a 12 animal prints in the Like an Animal Specialty Designer Series Paper – and there are so many fun ways to show case them. I simply added a little ink to a silver foil pattern to create this fun card:

I did some research to identify the animal patterns on these papers, but the internet comes up with some contradictory answers (imagine that!). As such, I won’t identify the animal represented by this pattern (I’d love your thoughts), but I’m pretty confident it’s not a pink animal in nature.

How incredible are these?! I selected the first pattern on the bottom row above for my card (I had to pick one!). With my trusty Blending Brush, I added Polished Pink ink to the center of the panel and worked my way to the edges without coloring the entire panel. Here’s a closer look at the color added and the shine that remained:

The sentiment on my card is PERFECT for this animal pattern, don’t you think? It’s pulled from the Lovely You stamp set in the 2022 Annual Catalog. Here’s a look:

There’s a lot of pink on this card (the Polished Pink ink, borders, embellishments and ribbon are immediately noticeable), but that pink is supported by loads of silver and grays. If you like this mix of Smoky Slate, Polished Pink and Basic Gray as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
