This idea has been bouncing around in my head for quite some time now. With one day left until Valentine’s Day, I figure it’s my last chance to share it. ♥ The Adorable Owls, one of Stampin’ Up!’s January-February 2022 Sale-a-Bration offerings, are just that – adorable. The characters are perfect for children’s birthdays or fun celebrations, but they are also perfect for a Valentine’s Day project. Here’s a sweet Valentine I made with the Adorable Owls:
“OWL Always Love You” – did you get it? I didn’t want to spell it out on the front of the card, but I would likely reiterate the saying on the inside. Here’s a look at the Adorable Owls stamp set that can be selected for free with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration:
I colored my little guy with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends and added Pumpkin Pie to his beak and feet. I also gave him Light Mint Macaron eyes. So easy to add color to this sweet character. The sentiment on my card starts with the owl (you already know that). The “always” is stamped with letters from the Alphabest stamp set (I love that we can build custom words with this set), and the scripted “love you” is stamped with a sentiment from Flowering Tulips. I colored a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock with a Light Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blend and cropped three lopsided hearts with the Share a Milkshake Dies. To frame the focal panel with the exact same color, I colored the edges of a piece of Thick Basic White with the same marker – who doesn’t love perfect coordination?!
