On Sunday, I shared a bright-and-cheery card with the Tiny Christmas Trees Die (you can see that post here). When I was finished assembling my card, I was left with a small pile of tiny trees (both green and pink). I found a fun way to put those trees to use on a tag that features several similar elements of the card I shared. Here’s the tag:
The stitched tag I used for all three layers of this tag are pulled from the Merriest Trees Dies. Each tag measures approximately 2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ – such a great size for a tag. I added a strand of Silver & White 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon for a little shine. Here’s a look at the Merriest Trees Bundle, which includes the Merriest Trees Dies:
I cropped a panel of trees for the card I shared with you on Sunday (and I’m showing again below) using the Tiny Christmas Trees Die – here’s a look:
Here’s a closer look at the tiny trees along the bottom of the white tag:
To align the little trees along the bottom of this tag, I used a piece of the panel of trees I had cropped for the card I shared on Sunday. I tacked down the tag and strip with Post-it tape and then glued the little trees in the coordinating openings. Here’s a look at my project in process:
Here’s a look at my tag, side-by side with my card:
Stamps: Wishes All Around Papers: Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, Vellum Cardstock, Thick Basic White Inks: Versamark Accessories: Merriest Trees Dies, Tiny Christmas Trees Dies, White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Stylish Shapes Dies, 2″ Circle Punch, Silver & White 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!
