Mom’s Christmas Countdown

We drove Mom home yesterday – she’s been staying with us since I picked her up the week before Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful visit – on top of Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving leftovers, we enjoy several dinners out, a fun trip to Medieval Times and a movie Saturday night. Oh! And there was a lot of crafting. Such a great time! Some days, Mom crafted while I worked. Some evening (when I was off work), we crafted together.

One of the projects Mom completed during her stay was the Rustic Christmas Countdown Kit, a collection of 25 pouches, clothespins and beautiful designs. No stamping, just assembly that’s sure to wow! The kits features four designs – a wreath, holly, mistletoe and a poinsettia and the countdown numbers to coordinating. Here’s a look at the four designs Mom completed (for the first four days of the year):

They are really beautiful, aren’t they?! Mom plans to gift the completed kit to a family member with young children who can really enjoy these beauties with candies, cash and other goodies. On our Paper Pumpkin call over the weekend, Susie (a wonderful customer of mine) told us how she was planning to hide hers around the house for her grandchildren to find. What fun!
