Attention Shoppers (day 2)

Yesterday I shared a trio of Basic White Note Cards with a new pair of new stamps sets in Stampin’ Up!’s 2024 Annual Catalog and a pack of papers that will soon retire. Today I am sharing another look at these cards and a few more details I want to share with you. If you missed yesterday’s post, you can see it here.

Today I am sharing the same cards with the coordinating envelopes, measurements of the cards and a bit more about the colors I used to color each of the images.

The Cards & Envelopes

To finish the set of note cards, I covered the flap of each envelope with the coordinating gingham color and pattern from the Glorious Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. It’s not a brilliant move (people do it all the time), but it really helps to complete the collection. Here’s a look:

The New Stamp Sets

Here’s a look at the Attention Shoppers Bundle that was used to stamp and crop the adorable images on my cards:

The Measurements

The Basic White Notecards measure 5″ x 7″, so the folded front measures 5″ x 3-1/2″. To fit the proportions of this card size, I built each card with the following layers:

  • Cardstock color (Pecan Pie, Berry Burst, Pretty Peacock) – 4-1/2″ x 3″
  • Basic White – 4-3/8″ x 2-7/8″
  • Glorious Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – 4-1/4″ x 2-3/4″
  • Thick Basic White – 1/2″ tall

The Papers

I love, love, love the colors and patterns in the Glorious Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. This pack of papers will retire at the end of April (unless it sells out first). The Glorious Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper will be marked down by 20% on April 9, but it’s worth every penny of the full price if you pick it up now. Each card also features a trio of Festive Pearls, which will also retire at the end of April and will also be marked down by 20% on April 9 (as long as they haven’t already sold out. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this incredible pack of papers – you’ll want to have these on-hand:

The Colors

The colors for my cards are pulled from the Glorious Gingham background patterns, but I colored each of the cute images with a mix of great Stampin’ Blends. Here’s a graphic of each image to show you the colors I used for each of the images:

If you love the trio of gingham-backed cards (as a set), I hope you’ll save this color combination for future reference:

Last Chance

Stampin’ Up!’s Last Chance Sale is underway! While loads of great discounts won’t start until next week (the sale starts Tuesday, April 9), some of the retiring products are already selling out. You can’t buy them at a discount if they are completely sold out. 🙁 This might be a really good time to study the retiring lists and make sure you pick up all the goodies you want before they are gone.

To see all of the products that are retiring (and the ones that will be discounted on Tuesday if they don’t sell out first), click on the image below:

  1. Loved the “deeper dive” into this darling trio today!

  2. Thank you for including measurements. You are the best at matting/layering/framing. While I try to CASE your designs, having measurements is really helpful.

  3. I agree with you about how great these gingham prints are. Thanks for the measurements to get the layers just right. Enjoy your day!
