I Appreciate You with Country Woods

It’s a fun time in the stamping world! There’s so much excitement around the products going away and how their absence makes room for all the new products on the way. Over the past couple of weeks, my posts have mixed retiring products with new, upcoming products. Today is all about brand new products (new in Stampin’ Up!’s 2024 Annual Catalog that launches May 1). Here’s my card:

Thoughtful Wishes Bundle, Country Woods Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian King

The top panel of the card features panels of a gorgeous page of papers from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper, a new pack of photo-real wood designs that is sure to be a huge hit! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Country Woods Designer Series Paper:

design from Country Woods Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 163393I cut 1/2″ strips of the pattern (against the grain of the wood slats, so to speak) and glued them onto a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ panel, staggering the strips on the focal panel. Here’s a closer look at the manipulated paper on my card front:

Country Lace Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 163415The sentiment and AMAZING foliage on pulled from the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle. The dies are cropped from Basic White and Pool Party cardstock, and the sentiment (WHICH I LOVE) is stamped with Misty Moonlight ink. Here’s a look at the new bundle, also sure to be a hit:

Thoughtful Wishes Bundle, Stampin Up! 163314I added three Petal Pink Foiled Gems to access my sentiment. All three of the colors (a pink and two blues) I showcase on the card are pulled from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper. If you like the mix of Petal Pink, Pool Party and Misty Moonlight as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

Wow Brian, awesome way to use the paper. Not being familiar with the paper, I actually thought you had done some paper weaving with it. What a great idea. Thank you for sharing. I enjoy looking to see what you have done as I enjoy your techniques. Have an awesome weekend and keep up the great work.
