Missing You with Spotlight on Nature

I love playing with new products – and Stampin’ Up!’s 2024 Annual Catalog gives us SO MANY great, new things to play with. As soon as my Spotlight on Nature Dies arrived, I opened them, ooh’d and aah’d at them and then pealed them off their backings to begin cutting. Absolutely in love! Here’s a card I made with the new Thoughtful Wishes Bundle and new Spotlight on Nature Dies (the card also features a new Designer Series Paper and a trio of new pearls). Here’s the card I made to share with you:

While the images in the Spotlight on Nature stamp set are certainly beautiful, I might have passed it by were it not for the OVER-THE-TOP, AMAZING dies that coordinate with the bundle. I’m going to show you a closer look at the dies, but here’s a look at the Spotlight on Nature Bundle:

The Spotlight on Nature Dies features 12 dies (four circles with three different designs) Here’s a look at these dies:

And here’s a closer look at the dies I used to crop the Pool Party and Smoky Slate cardstock on my card:

The fauna and sentiment on my card are pulled from the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle – I stamped the plant and cropped it with the coordinating dies. There are so many great dies and images to build a focal point on a card, but I went “simple” to showcase this beauty. Here’s a look at the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle:

I colored the leaves with a mix of Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. It’s not often I mix colors when coloring, but I felt like a real artist when I mixed Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam on these leaves. Here’s a closer look:

I added three small Smoky Slate pearls from the Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls to accent the sentiment on my card and pull Smoky Slate into the center of the card. I love these new pearls!
