After a long, long day, I look forward to propping my legs up and kicking back for a little “screen” time at the end of a long day. We aren’t supposed to love TV time, but we do! I was so excited to see the cute, old-fashioned television in the 2024 Annual Catalog – the Tune In Bundle is adorable. I used the bundle to make this retro card to let me TV know how I can’t wait to see what’s airing tonight:
The card showcases the Tune In Bundle, which features adorable images and great sentiments – you probably know someone who deserves a good TV card:
Here’s a closer look at the TV set that showcased on my card:
The television set is stamped on a wood grain page from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (showcased in the product links at the base of this post). I hand-snipped each TV and then framed it with white cardstock (I used the Tune In Die to crop the frame and then glued the hand-snipped TV inside). The antennae, nobs and white stars are also cropped with the coordinating dies). I cropped the TV screen from Smoky Slate cardstock with the Tune In Dies and stamped the sentiment from the Hooray for Surprises stamp set (link at the base of this post).
I made this card for a card swap I hosted with my InKing Royalty team. I’ll be sharing the other cards later this week. Here’s a look at my card with a backdrop of my other cards:
You already know I made multiples of this card, so here’s my infinity shot of the cards lined up on my table before I packaged them up to mail them out:
I wanted to give my retro-television a backdrop that supports the image. The 3/4″ strips of cardstock behind my television set built the backdrop, but the colors really took us back in time with a ’70’s appeal. If you like this warm mix of Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this:
I look forward to sharing the other cards from our InKing Royalty card swap in the coming week. You’re going to love them! ♥

I agree with the other posters that where most of us see a challenge, you whip up something amazing using it. I’m sure your team was as surprised with this fun TV card as we are. Enjoy your day!
