For You with Spotlight on Nature

I was so excited when the Spotlight on Nature Bundle was back in stock – I showcased the dies in the simple card I shared on Saturday (you can see it here). Over the weekend, though, folks took our advice and ordered this bundle. Now it’s on backorder again with the dies expected to be back in stock on July 8. It’s no surprise to me – it’s a must-have, super-popular bundle. I didn’t realize the Spotlight on Nature Bundle was on backorder when I sat down to make this card:

I stamped the right-most flower from the trio of flowers in the Spotlight on Nature stamp set, masking some of the leaves along the bottom so they wouldn’t crowd up the base of the flower. I colored the flower with Soft Sea Foam and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends. I colored the butterfly with a mix of Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends – so beautiful. Here’s a closer look:

I framed the flower and butterfly with three layers of circles:

• a Basic White circle cropped with the Spotlight on Nature Dies
• a Calypso Coral circle punched with the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch
• a Daffodil Delight circle cropped with the Spotlight on Nature Dies

I decorated my card with six Daffodil Delight Opal Rounds Assortment – two sets of three dots helps to frame the circles.
