I shared a trio of cards in beautiful blues yesterday with Mom’s Take to the Sky cards (if you missed her cards, you can see them here). I’m back with some beautiful blues of my own, but these blues are showcased in a sweet Christmas card. Here’s my simple, but beautifully blue, card:
I’m so excited by the Online Exclusives Stampin’ Up! launched last week. It’s fun to dip my toe into the Christmas and Holiday offerings. My card features two tags and a beautiful sentiment from the new Greetings of the Season Bundle. Here’s a look at this must-have bundle:
I cropped the tag once with Night of Navy cardstock and once with Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with Night of Navy ink on the white tag and then slapped them onto my card. Maybe I had to first build a beautiful backdrop before the slapping could take place…here’s a look at this gorgeous sentiment:
I pulled a blue page from the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper. This page wasn’t designed for a snow-filled project, but it’s the first thing I saw when I studied this gorgeous design. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper:
I tied my tag four strands of the Balmy Blue twine in the Baker’s Twine Three Color Pack (so happy to pull this twine into a Christmas card). I didn’t want my twine to cover my sentiment, so I glued it behind the tag, allowing it to poke out the side. Here’s a look at the sweet colors in the Baker’s Twine Three Color Pack, carried over from the Spring Mini Catalog:
I added three Balmy Blue dots from the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to my tag – I love the color coordination so much! Here’s a look at the dots in the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots:
The pack includes (from left to right): Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, Petal Pink, Lemon Lolly, Azure Afternoon, Bubble Bath, Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia. Such a great pack of dots to have on-hand!

This Mediterranean pattern is a WOW! for an holiday card. Smart!
Awww…thanks, Mary! The blues are perfect!
Great layout and layers!
Thanks, my friend! You and I don’t get to see snow a lot, but I imagine that’s what it looks like. 🙂
So pretty in blue for the holidays!
Thanks, Linda! I love these papers. I couldn’t resist with this one.
Gorgeous. Love that sentiment and the cool colors of winter.
Thanks so much, Cindie! Funny how colors of summer can also be colors of winter. 🙂
When the simplest items are put together, they can make a most beautiful card. And, Brian, you know how to do it. Love the blues! Enjoy your day!
Thanks so much, Hilda! I appreciate your kindness. 🙂
