Yesterday I shared a card from Stampin’ Up! that features a layout of beautiful layers in a neutral color scheme (if you missed that card, you can see it here). Once I realized I couldn’t replicate the beauty of that card, I changed things up a bit to make a card that’s “inspired by” that Magnolia Mood card with some of my own touches. Here’s the card I made:
The largest background panel on my card features an out-of-this-world design from the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper. While the pack of paper features all five of Stampin’ Up!’s 2024-2026 In Colors, I chose the Pretty in Pink page for my card. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper:
The rose cutout on the top layer of my card is cropped with the Designer Tags Dies. This set of dies was in a prior Annual Catalog and has continued to be offered in the Online Exclusives. With a variety of great tags in the set, this one is the showstopper (for me). The die cuts into the paper (whatever size) to crop the image of the flowers and leaves. I backed it with the white panel behind that creates the frame for the Pretty in Pink panel. Here’s a closer look at the cut-out:
Here’s a look at the Designer Tags Dies:
The other panel of my card is embossed with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder. Not only does it provide a beautiful texture for that panel, but it ties-in well with the floral images featured in the rest of the card elements. Here’s a look at this must-have embossing folder:
I added a sentiment from the Friends for Life stamp set and a trio of Iridescent Pearls to accent the sentiment. There’s a lot of Pretty in Pink in this sweet card, and I couldn’t love it more.
Stamps: Friends for Life Papers: Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper, Pretty in Pink, Basic White Inks: Pretty in Pink Accessories: Designer Tag Dies, Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder, Iridescent Pearls, Stampin’ Dimensionals
