I shared a card on Saturday with some warm, Autumn colors. I’m not all-in on Fall yet, but I couldn’t help but to make another. The Fall-themed card I’m sharing today features a simple sentiment and a beautiful trio of colors – Wild Wheat, Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake. Does it get any richer than that?! Here’s my card:
My card started with a heat-embossed sentiment from the Iconic Imagery stamp set – “grateful” is presented in such a beautiful script in this set. After I heat-embossed it on a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock, I snipped around the word with my paper snips. Here’s a look at the Iconic Imagery Bundle, a new Online Exclusives product last month:
The focal panel on my card is a leaf-and-flowers design from this year’s 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers. When presented in bright or soft colors, these pages are so cheerful and Spring-like. This same design in Wild Wheat, though, gives Autumn vibes, doesn’t it?!
I positioned my sentiment on a strip of Crumb Cake 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and a bow of Linen Thread. I added three Wild Wheat In Color Sparkle Dots to further accent the sentiment. Here’s a close look at the sentiment on my card:
If you love the mix of Crumb Cake, Wild Wheat and Pecan Pie as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Stamps: Iconic Imagery Papers: 2023-2025 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (Wild Wheat), Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (Crumb Cake), Wild Wheat, Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake Inks: Versamark Accessories: Wow! White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Paper Snips, Linen Thread, 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Gorgeous transition of color for summer to autumn.
Thanks, Mary! I love the warm colors…can’t wait for Fall.
Beautiful card design! I love the pattern and color combos.
Thank you, Susan! I had fun with this – it’s the first time I could make this leaf-and-flowers pattern work so well for me.
Perfect for autumn and being grateful! Great colors. Enjoy your day!
Thanks, my friend! ♥
What a beautiful card, Brian! I really like those 3 colors together. Have a great week.
Thanks, Michele! It’s a special trio of colors, isn’t it? 🙂
NEVER would have thought of this color combination, but it is perfect! A nice idea for a Thanksgiving card too. Thank you Brian!
Thanks so much, Barbara! These colors worked so well for me – couldn’t love the color combination more.
Always the layers that get me! Seven perfect “basic” layers, an emphatic, dramatic sentiment, and some understated embellishment to soften the lines. Yeah, yeah, yeah, AND a delicious color combo.
Way to kick off the week, BK! Inspirational~ 💕
Thanks so much, Linda! I didn’t set out to have so many layers, but (as you know) I couldn’t help myself. So glad you like it, Linda! ♥
Really fabulous card Brian! I know not everyone does but LOVE Wild Wheat!
I’m surprised it’s not more popular – I just think it’s so warm and beautiful. Thanks, Katie! ♥
This is fabulous….so elegant and I love the colors!
Thank you so much, Linda! I’m so happy you like it.
Thanks for the colors!!! Love it
