Merry with More Than Autumn

Clearance Rack Refreshed!

Before I share today’s project…

In the wee hours of the night, Stampin’ Up! elves crept into the warehouse and loaded up the Online Store with Clearance Rack goodies – former products that are returning for a short time at considerable discounts.

It’s definitely worth a look-see – these products will only be available while supplies last. Don’t miss out! To start shopping right now, CLICK HERE.

Yesterday I shared some pictures and fun stories from Louise Sharp’s visit to Atlanta over the past two weeks (if you missed that post you can see it here). While I worked for three days of Louise’s visit, she crafted, water colored and played. I was left with an embarrassment of riches I have shared with you over the past several weeks – some cards made by Louise and some elements of cards I then designed. Today I’m sharing the last bit of creative gold Louise made for me while she visited. Here’s a card I built around a sweet drink Louise stamped, colored and cut out:

You’d say it’s an iced peppermint mocha, right? I can’t be sure of what’s inside the frozen treat, but I’ll just believe that’s what’s in there. The cup and whipped cream are pulled from the More Than Autumn Bundle, new in Stampin’ Up!’s 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog. Here’s a look:

Such a great look! She created a sleeve for the cup by paper-piecing a pattern from the Take a Bow 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Here’s a closer look at the sweet treat:

The Take a Bow 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper features bold patterns with three colors – Garden Green, Granny Apple Green and Real Red. The pack includes 12 each of 4 double-sided designs, making it perfect for your Christmas cards this year. Just sayin’! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Take a Bow 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

I was excited to find a home for the iced drink, so I positioned it over a graphic collection of colors and patterns from the pack of papers. Fun, right? I mounted the drink on a 2-3/8″ Circle and added a sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set. I speckled three Garden Green dots from the Earth Tones Shimmer Gems. Such a fun accent!

Granny Apple Green plans a small role on this card (it’s included in the speckles on the Garden Green page of paper). I love this vibrant mix of colors – if you love it as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

  1. I love all the water coloring Louise did over the last few weeks. And this mix of patterned paper sets the cup off perfectly! I love the design too!

  2. A wonderful Christmas card – partly Louise’s and partly yours. What a great duo for making pretty cards. Enjoy your week!
