Grateful for You with Autumn Expressions

After a few days of the Online Exclusives, I’m reaching ALLLL the way back to Stampin’ Up!’s 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog to share a card I made with the GORGEOUS Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. With a simple fold and a little heat embossing, here’s the card I made to share with you today:

Autumn Expressions Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Fall cardI’ve included all of the dimensions for the layers on this card at the base of this post. The front panel on my card is a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ panel of the Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this incredible pack of papers:

Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 164173With white embossing powder, I heat embossed the gorgeous sentiment from Autumn Expressions stamp set directly on the patterned paper. Such a beauty! Here’s a look at the Autumn Expressions Bundle, which includes the stamp set and coordinating dies:

I built this card with “my kind of fancy fold” – create a card base and then cut some of it off. 🙂

Here are the measurements for the layers on my card (starting with the base and working up toward the top panel):

  • Early Espresso – 5-1/2″ x 6-1/4″ scored at 2″
  • Wild Wheat (inside) – 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Basic White (inside) – 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
  • Neutrals 6″ x 6″ DSP – 1-7/8″ x 5-3/8″
  • Wild Wheat – 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
  • Basic White – 3-3/8″ x 4-5/8″
  • Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ – 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″

I started with a standard “book-style” card base and then cut 2-1/4″ inches off one side. I added the inside panel and then ensured the front panel was centered over the inside piece to create a beautiful frame around the focal panel.

I added three Wild Wheat dots from the 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots for a little extra shine.
