Thank You with Caring Leaves

The weather has been spectacular this week in Atlanta – the leaves have filled the back patio as the wind whips them away from the branches they grew up on. The cold snap has been wonderful (I know “cold’ is relative, so I don’t want to take away from the snow or heatwave you’re experiencing). For us, though, it’s cold – and I’m here for it! While I’m in an Autumn mood, I couldn’t help but to play with the Caring Leaves stamp set yesterday. Here’s the card I made:

Caring Leaves, Friend for Life Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Fall thank you cardSimple and sweet, don’t you think? The Caring Leaves stamp set, like my card, is simple and sweet – I love these images and sentiments. Here’s a look at the Caring Leaves stamp set:

Caring Leaves, Stampin Up! 164273The first time I showcased these leaves, I stamped the outline and inside with monochromatic inks. On today’s project I stamped the outlines with Memento Tuxedo Black and added color to the inside. I like both but really wanted these leaves to be bold and crisp. Here’s a look at the last project I made with these gorgeous leaves (you can click on the picture below to see my post for this project):

Back to today’s card…I stamped the leaves and then snipped them out before arranging them on my card front.  Here’s a closer look at the leaves on today’s card:

I cropped a label with the Friends for Life Dies and added a sentiment from the stamp set of the same name. Here’s a closer look at the sentiment on my card:

Here’s a look at the Friends for Life Bundle, filled with so many great sentiments and coordinated dies:

Friends for Life Bundle, Stampin Up!, 163365I set out to showcase my leaves on a patterned page from the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper but decided they’d look crisper against a solid panel. That didn’t stop me from adding a beautiful plaid to the card base behind the leaves. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper (so gorgeous!):

  1. the sweetest leaf images . . . perfect autumn color palette!

  2. What a great fall thank you card. I love the colors and the shapes of the leaves. Enjoy your day!

  3. Using that shape from the Friends bundle is a very clever idea indeed!

  4. Not a stamp set I invested in (either by purchase or attachment), but I like both examples of how you used it. You are SUCH an enabler!! Thanks for the inspiration.

  5. Both cards are very pretty, today’s card is my favorite. Love the color combo!
