Brian’s Week in Review: January 5, 2025

Brian's Week in Review

Welcome to my first Week-in-Review of 2025. It’s been a busy, busy week – and there are loads of amazing things to look forward to in the coming week.

Today is Sunday – and that means it’s time to take a look back at the past week in my Week in Review post. In today’s post, I want to share a quick rundown of the week (for those who don’t follow me every day) and a little extra background (for those who already tune in daily). But first…I want to give you a quick rundown of what’s headed your way this week.

Coming Up This Week

Tuesday, January 7 (that’s this coming week!), Stampin’ Up! launches four new product offerings:

  • the Spring 2025 Mini Catalog
  • incredible Online Exclusives offerings
  • a Scrapbooking Brochure that’s a supplement to the Mini Catalog
  • January-February 2025 Sale-a-Bration

Tomorrow’s post will be dedicated to these promotions – I’ll share as much as I can (can’t share everything until the products are live) so you are prepared for the new products.

Last Chance

With the launch of the new catalog, tomorrow at noon is the last chance to sign up and/or pay for my Product Shares. If you’d like to sign up for my Product Shares and purchase these books (I’d love to send them to you), click on the image below:

I shared the new Designer Series Paper Swatch Books last week – you can see them here.

Tomorrow at noon is also the last day to sign up and/or pay for the newest Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit, featuring the Mixed Floral Bundle and Mixed Labels Bundle. If you’d like to learn more and/or sign up, click on the image below:

Monday

On Monday I shared two of the projects I shared during last weekend’s Pumpkin in the Fungeon call. I love my monthly calls with my Paper Pumpkin subscribers. They don’t all attend the calls, but those who do always have a good time.

On Monday, I walked you through the details of these two cards I made with products from the Notes from the Heart Paper Pumpkin Kit:

Tuesday

On Tuesday, I launched the new Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit that Emma and I are hosting with the Mixed Florals Bundle and Mixed Labels Bundle, new products in Stampin’ Up!’s January 2025 Online Exclusives launch.

Mixed Florals and Mixed Labels Super-Awesome Fun Time Card KitEmma and I are also offering a bonus class for participants who sign up for the kit with the bundles (we call it the Super-Awesome option). Such fun! You won’t want to miss out on this kit.

There’s still time to sign up and pay your invoice – tomorrow is the deadline. To learn more and sign up, CLICK HERE.

Wednesday

January 1, 2025 – it was just this past week. Isn’t that unbelievable?! While I was at Mom’s eating Hoppin’ Johns, collard greens and cornbread, I was excited to share the back stories to 5 of my favorite projects from 2024. Every card I make has a back-story – it’s fun to share them with you. Here’s one of my favorite projects from 2024:

Changing Leaves Bundle, Unbounded Love Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian King with my Starbucks mugI joked with Alaine (in the comments for this post) that I could post for a year with inspiration from the mug cupboard. 🙂

If you’d like to see the five cards I selected and read more about those projects, CLICK HERE.

Thursday

I shared big hugs on Thursday with a project that features a new stamp/punch bundle in the 2025 Spring Mini Catalog. Here’s the card I shared with you on Thursday:

Hugs for Love Bundle, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, Valentine's cardWhat I also love about the Hugs for Love Bundle is that Stampin’ Up! has ANOTHER stamp set that coordinates with the punch. Love when that happens!

Friday

On Friday, I shared by big mistake last year when I over-assembled Designer Series Paper Swatch Books from the Holiday Mini Catalog. A little mistake in my spreadsheet led me to make more books than I had planned. I really want to offload these sets of books – and I appreciate all of you who’ve helped me to get them re-homed. You’re the best! ♥

For the rest of this weekend, I’m offering the Designer Series Paper Swatch Books from the 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog at half-price. To learn more, click on the image below:

I still have several more of these books available and would love for you to pick up a stack. To learn more, CLICK HERE.

Saturday

Yesterday I shared a cute tag I made with the Spring is in the Air Dies (available now for Paper Pumpkin subscribers) and the Everyday Arches Dies (available on Tuesday with the Online Exclusives launch). Here’s a look at the cute tags I made:
