Card Starters from Amazing Friends: Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of projects my amazing customers and friends made with the Card Starters I mailed to them. If you missed the projects I shared with you yesterday, I hope you’ll take a look:

A Little Background…

To foster a “last minute push” toward my milestone sales goal in January, I offered an event I called Brian’s Big Bundle Bonanza to anyone who purchased a bundle from me during the last week. I hosted the Zoom call this past weekend with incredible friends who supported my last-minute push – and we all had SO MUCH FUN!

Brian's Big Bundle BonanzaBefore the call, I mailed out little envelopes of “card guts” (random pieces of Designer Series Papers, cardstock and die-cut shapes) and asked the participants to make a card with the bits and pieces I sent to them. Some made multiple cards. What made it really fun for me – each envelope was different from the others (although several contained similar products), but all of the cards were different! I encouraged participants to incorporate whatever products they wanted to build a card that made them happy.

Participants shared their finished projects on Saturday’s call (along with the projects we completed during the call). I’m so happy to share a handful of their projects here today. I’ll share more of them in the coming week, so be on the lookout!

Catherine Chapdelaine

Here are the Card Starters goodies I mailed to Catherine ahead of our weekend call:

Carol Tomkowicz

Here’s a look at the “card guts” I mailed to Carol:

Brian's Card Starter sent to Carol Tomkowicz, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingCarol received a collection of beautiful papers, a Memories & More Card and a Mix & Match sentiment, among other things. She pulled from these goodies to create three gorgeous cards by adding in other products from her stamping stash. I love all three of them!

René Wilder

Here’s a look at the collection of bits and pieces I mailed to René:

Brian's Card Starter sent to Rene Wilder, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingLike Carol, René couldn’t stop with one card – she made three with the goodies she received. Rather than building a card around these items, she incorporated them into other designs (which is totally fine according to the rules). I’m happy to share these beautiful cards:

Karleen Sveum

Here’s a look at the “card guts” I mailed to Karleen:

I love how Karleen pulled used this page from the Unbounded Beauty (she had three choices from this pack) and paired it with the die, circle and sentiment in the pack. The added flowers are a perfect accent!

These are such great cards, don’t you think?! I had fun mailing out the little packets and was thrilled to  receive the cards over the past couple of weeks. I’m excited to be able to share them with you. Please leave a comment to let these artists know how much you appreciate their designs.

If you missed the first two batches of cards I shared earlier this week, I hope you’ll check them out:

I have one more batch of these cards to share with you this weekend. Yay!

Thanks for stopping by today!
