I love innovative stamping products – and the project I’m sharing today showcases two of my favorites: (1) a stamp set that allows me to build fun patterns and backgrounds and (2) a stamp set that coordinates with the dies/punch in an existing bundle. Thanks to Stampin’ Up! for all the fun I had making this card:
While the Stripes & Dots stamp set is designed with four patterned images that allow us to build our own pattern on a card, I decided to stamp all four of the patterns on different colors of cardstock with coordinating colors. Here’s a look at this super-fun stamp set (that you might have missed in the Annual Catalog if you weren’t looking carefully):
How cool are those patterns? I thought the dots in the third pattern would look great with the dotted gift box in the Encircled with Love stamp I used for the sentiment – so I was happy to see I had it on my shelf. 🙂 Here’s a closer look at my sentiment that was punched with the 1-7/8″ Circle Punch and layered with a 2″ Circle Punch and 2-3/8″ Circle Punch:
Here’s a look at the fun images and sentiments in the Encircled with Love stamp set that perfectly pairs with the new 1-7/8″ Circle Punch:
The 1-7/8″ Circle Punch was released in the 2025 Annual Catalog – and I will buy and (and all) circle punches Stampin’ Up! offers. It was unavailable at first, but I added it to my shopping cart the moment it was available. Here’s a look at this must-have punch:
I wanted a bright and cheery card, so I immediately reached for Poppy Parade and chose three In Colors to accent it. If you like this combination of Summer Splash, Timid Tiger, Poppy Parade and Darling Duckling as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Stamps: Stripes & Dots, Encircled with Love Papers: Summer Splash, Timid Tiger, Poppy Parade, Darling Duckling, Basic Gray, Basic White Inks: Summer Splash, Timid Tiger, Poppy Parade, Darling Duckling Accessories: 1-7/8″ Circle Punch, 2″ Circle Punch, 2-3/8″ Circle Punch, Holographic Resin Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

This mix of color blocked patterns is magic!
Thank you so much, Mary! ♥
I’ve looked at this set several times, but could never figure out what to do with it!
Along comes Brian and POP! Creative mind for sure! Fun card! Thanks Brian!
There are SO MANY ways to use these patterns – it’s such a fun set. I’m sure you’ll see more of it from me. 🙂
Stripes & Dots . . . you are making this stamp set so tempting.
Have a blessed day.
🙂 Thanks, Nancy! It’s a fun one.
Hi Brian
That truly is a fun and cheerful 😀 card. You are so creative to combine these elements!
Thanks for sharing your talent!
Thanks so much, Dawn! ♥
And this all really pops on Basic Gray! Glad you’ve reminded us about this color again!
Funny story – I was originally going to mount it on Poppy Parade, but it was BRIGHT OVERLOAD, so I switched. I debated whether I should discuss that in my post, but I opted to not. Rethinking that discussion now…
Hi Brian- thank you for giving us a color combination with more than 3 colors/ I like to use a LOT of colors!
🙂
Happy to share! 🙂 Thanks so much!
Love the brightness of this card. You always know when to anchor with gray! Brilliant!
