A Little Something for You with Stripes & Dots

I love innovative stamping products – and the project I’m sharing today showcases two of my favorites: (1) a stamp set that allows me to build fun patterns and backgrounds and (2) a stamp set that coordinates with the dies/punch in an existing bundle. Thanks to Stampin’ Up! for all the fun I had making this card:

Encircled with Love, Stripes & Dots, Stampin' Up, Brian King, fun birthday cardWhile the Stripes & Dots stamp set is designed with four patterned images that allow us to build our own pattern on a card, I decided to stamp all four of the patterns on different colors of cardstock with coordinating colors. Here’s a look at this super-fun stamp set (that you might have missed in the Annual Catalog if you weren’t looking carefully):

Stripes & Dots, Stampin' Up!, 165334How cool are those patterns? I thought the dots in the third pattern would look great with the dotted gift box in the Encircled with Love stamp I used for the sentiment – so I was happy to see I had it on my shelf. 🙂 Here’s a closer look at my sentiment that was punched with the 1-7/8″ Circle Punch and layered with a 2″ Circle Punch and 2-3/8″ Circle Punch:

Encircled with Love, Stampin' Up!, 165338The 1-7/8″ Circle Punch was released in the 2025 Annual Catalog – and I will buy and (and all) circle punches Stampin’ Up! offers. It was unavailable at first, but I added it to my shopping cart the moment it was available. Here’s a look at this must-have punch:

1-7/8" Circle Punch, Stampin' Up!, 165259I wanted a bright and cheery card, so I immediately reached for Poppy Parade and chose three In Colors to accent it. If you like this combination of Summer Splash, Timid Tiger, Poppy Parade and Darling Duckling as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

    • Funny story – I was originally going to mount it on Poppy Parade, but it was BRIGHT OVERLOAD, so I switched. I debated whether I should discuss that in my post, but I opted to not. Rethinking that discussion now…
