Many of my Stampin’ Up! team members (not only those with blogs) share their gorgeous projects in our team’s Facebook community – there’s such amazing and inspiring creativity in this group! I’m always excited when my team’s blog hop rolls around, though, because I get to share some of their amazing work with you. I’m just as excited to see their projects as you are, and I am proud to share them with you.
Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! Trees are such a central image in card making (Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter, trees are gorgeous), so we have designed projects with trees to share with you today. We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Joy with Fragrant Forest
When Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Mini Catalog ends on January 3, many products will become unavailable (but you know that because you’ve thoroughly shopped the Last Chance Sale). Today’s card features a stamp set set that will be carried forward (likely into the 2024 Annual Catalog). Here’s a Christmas card I made with the gorgeous trees in the Fragrant Forest stamp set:
I stamped the backdrop of trees with Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock. Such a crisp image! I stamped the image again with Shaded Spruce ink on another piece of Basic White cardstock and cropped the center image with a 2-3/8″ Circle punch. I layered the circle over the backdrop image for a spotlight effect on the card. Here’s a look at the Fragrant Forest stamp set:
I layered the 3″ x 5″ panel with Shaded Spruce and Thick Basic White cardstock and added a small piece of Early Espresso to pop out from behind. The base of my card is 3-3/4″ x 5-1/12″, a slender, tall card that will fit in a standard envelope. I love that shape!
The sentiment at the heart of my card is pulled from a Sale-a-Bration stamp set that will be available to customers starting in January. I masked the “ENJOY your day” sentiment from Heartfelt Hellos with tape to isolate “JOY” for this card. Here’s a look at the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set that can be earned with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration in January and February 2024:
While there’s a little pop of Poppy Parade in the sentiment and a trio of gold accents, it’s the warm tones of the green and browns that make this card so beautiful. Don’t you agree? If you like this mix of Crumb Cake, Shaded Spruce and Early Espresso as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Stamp Sets: Fragrant Forest, Heartfelt Hellos (2024 Sale-a-Bration) Papers: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Shaded Spruce, Thick Basic White Inks: Early Espresso, Shaded Spruce, Poppy Parade Accessories: 2-3/8″ Circle Punch, Blooming Pearls, Stampin’ Dimensionals
