Big Love for Stamp With Brian

This has been a great week for me!  I demo’d two very successful demonstrations, and some of my business goals are starting to take form.  These are wonderful, but I am most excited and inspired by the support and validation I’ve received related to my blog.

Samantha

This week, I received a note from a frequent visitor to my blog, Samanta Ovitt.  Samantha has been a regular responder to my blog entries – always leaving really nice, supportive comments on my blog over the past month.  I didn’t know very much about Samantha until yesterday when she let me know that she had posted something about me in her blog at Samie’s Sentiments.  Samantha is a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from a small town in Vermont.  She is in a restrictive neck brace after a should surgery almost a year ago, followed by a multi-level cervical disc fusion in June.  Yikes!  Here’s what Samantha wrote on her blog:

“I just couldn’t help myself!  I have been visiting Brian King’s blog quite frequently during my recovery period and the past two days I have found myself motivated to get my fingers inky!  If you haven’t checked it out…www.stampwithbrian.com!”

On her blog entry, Samantha includes a picture of her stamping standing up because her neck brace is so restrictive.  You can see her blog entry here.  I can’t begin so say how much it means to me that I may have inspired someone else to action with my little ‘ole blog.  I wanted to “wow” and to “share” but “inspire” is a wonderfully unexpected result of my blog.

Katt

Yesterday, Stamp with Brian also received a pretty awesome shout out from Katt Adams.  Katt is a successful Stampin’ Up! demonstrator (and has been for the past 12 years) and is a cofounder of InkBig Direct Sales Academy, which provides sales support for the direct sales and home party business.  In her weekly newsletter (which features amazing step-by-step tutorials for techniques and card layouts), Katt had this to say about Stamp with Brian:

“This week I found Brian at ‘Stamp with Brian.’  Why do I love Brian’s blog?  It is so different!  There is no clutter, there is no fuss.  Not on his blog, and not in his word choices!  He gets straight to the point- and what a point he has to make!  I think his cards are gorgeous – and they are simple too – not simple as in the easy peasy kind of way, but more in a hey, look at this kind of way.”

Other have been so supportive of my blog, leaving so many complimentary comments.  I wish I could just reach through this Internet connection and give each and every one of you a big hug (with your permission, of course!)  I hope I continue to deliver project ideas that keep you coming back for more.  I also ask you to please share my blog with your friends and family who find papercrafting as invigorating as I do.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
