My favorite food yesterday was EVERYTHING I bought from B. Market. For the first time in almost 40 years, I didn’t cook. Yea!!
The whole meal was wonderful. I especially enjoyed a simple baked sweet potato …..the healthiest thing I could consume on a day filled with immense thanks ….
My husband spent ALL DAY on Wednesday smoking a 23lb turkey for our feast. After smelling that goodness all day on Wednesday I could hardly wait until Thursday to dig in. Definitely my favorite part of the meal.
I loved my spiced apple pie with a cheddar crust.
Everything was so good! but i have to say the oreo cookie balls, dipped in white chocolate and then drizzled with milk chocolate.
I would say the tastiest part of the mail yesterday was the ham! Yum!

Thanks Brian for the great blog candy offer. My favorite menu item on yesterday’s table was the pumpkin pie. I know it’s not exciting, but I only get it once a year on Thanksgiving. It was sooooo good!!
Since my husband had surgery Wednesday and since he has a very limited appetite, I didn’t cook a big Thanksgiving meal 🙁 However, I tried making the day a little fun for the kids by making home-made pizza! Our fresh spinach and mushroom pizza was delish! Hope you had a lovely day filled with happiness and warm memories!
My favorite dish yesterday was the stuffing my brother in law made! YUMMY

I have to say the best thing I ate yesterday was my husband’s gravy. I usually make the gravy but with 15 for dinner I was a bit busy with other items and he volunteered to make gravy. It turned out to be delicious. I think it will be a tradition from now on.

My partner makes the most delicious chorizo stuffing for our turkey. It’s spicy and full of flavor. Plus, it add a little kick to our traditional Thanksgiving dinner. 🙂

Thanks for your inspiration! Although our whole dinner was wonderful the most enjoyable dish is my mom’s stuffing. The blessing is she has taught me how to make it and although she’s not up to cooking like she used to we were still able to make it together this year.

My favorite dish for Thanksgiving was DUMPLINGS!! My daughter made them from her Granny’s recipe! Her Granny ( my mother- in- law) always made them for our family for special holidays. Before she passed away, she taught my daughter how to make them! So now my daughter makes them and cooks them in the same pot that her Granny cooked them in! How special is that!! My hope is that she will teach her daughters someday how to make their Great Granny’s delicious dumplings!!
Okay, Brian… I really want that Cherry Cobbler Ribbon so here goes… My favorite food was rolled eggplant stuffed with provalone cheese and broccoli rabe drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Yum! I’d be happy to share the recipe with Jeremiah but he probably already has it! Oh, a really great post. I’ll have to CASE.
