Events, Invites and a Blog Candy Giveaway

Hear ye!  Hear ye!  I’m excited to share a handful of announcements today.  My post is jam-packed with great information about events, invites and a crowd-favorite Blog Candy Giveaway.  What fun!

EVENTS

I love every opportunity I have to get together with my InKing Royalty team members, amazing customers and other demonstrators.  I have two really big events to tell you about – one happened yesterday, and the other takes place in October.

  • Memory Keeping with Foster Care Families.  I had an AMAZING opportunity yesterday to craft with families from Georgia’s Foster Care Program.  What an honor!  What amazing fun!  I was first contacted by Rhonda, who works in Georgia’s Department of Family Services.  She found me online and asked if I would help organize an scrapbooking event to celebrate and honor these families.  I can’t wait to share pictures and a rundown of this event with you later this week.  Here’s one picture to whet your appetite:Project Life 6" x 8" Albums, Stampin' Up!, Brian King
  • World Card Making Day 2017.  For the past four years, Pam (my incredible upline) have hosted a demonstrator event in Atlanta to celebrate World Card Making Day.  This event falls on Saturday, October 7, 2017 this year, and we are already planning for this year’s event.  The week after our super-fun event, I always receive emails from people who “wish they’d known” – here’s your chance to stay in-the-know.  🙂  This event is designed to inspire and support Stampin’ Up! demonstrators (business builders and hobbyists).  If you are interested in joining us, please CLICK HERE to make sure you are on my email list for the event.  We don’t need a commitment right now, but we’d love to make sure you are included!

If you’d like to see my write-up (and super-fun pictures) from last year’s event, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

INVITES

  • My Product Shares are Coming!  I’ve received lots of notes to ask if I’ll be hosting product shares for the upcoming Annual Catalog.  The simple answer is – YES!  Per Stampin’ Up!’s rules, I can’t collect money from customers until seven days before I can place the order with Stampin’ Up!, so I’ve got it all ready to post later this week.  What are product shares?  You can read more about that here.  If you’d like to be included in my email on Thursday that announces the shares, please email me at [email protected] to let me know.  I’m excited!
  • Brian’s Bulletin – My New Newsletter.  As you may already know, I kicked off my Brian’s Bulletin Newsletter last week.  I am thrilled with the number of people who signed up to receive my newsletter and was thrilled to share my first edition.  Since many have signed up since then, I’m sharing the first edition here – and the next one will go out next week.  If you missed my first newsletter, you can click on the picture below to take a peek:

BLOG CANDY GIVEAWAY

Now that we’ve got all the “business stuff” out of the way, it’s time for a fun Blog Candy Giveaway.  I gathered up a bunch of brand new, never-been-used before items in my craft space and want to offer them to one deserving winner.  All you have to do to be considered “deserving” is to leave a comment below and answer the following question –

You’ve seen the new catalog or lots of great new items from it.  What are you most excited about in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Annual Catalog?

Here’s what one winner will receive –

Project Life 6" x 8" Albums, Stampin' Up!, Brian King

Wow!  That’s a lot of stuff!  What was I thinking?!  🙂  Here’s what you can win – Crumb Cake Notecards and Envelopes, Make a Medallion stamp set, Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack, Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Succulent Garden 3/8″ Ribbon Combo, Falling in Love Embellishments, Calypso Coral & Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Markers, Urban Underground Embellishments, Halloween Night Enamel Dots, Watercolor Pencils and four of my all-time favorite cards.

Again, all you have to do is answer this question:

You’ve seen the new catalog or lots of great new items from it.  What are you most excited about in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Annual Catalog?

You can also leave a kind message, but it won’t help you to win the goodies.  Maybe.  🙂

I’ll announce the winner on Tuesday.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Brian

  1. Hi Brian
That’s so great to have been approached to help create memories in foster families. In March I made an oral submission to the New Zealand Parliament about the importance of memory keeping for children in care, without which they can struggle with identity, self-worth and life in general as adults. You’ve just shown me something concrete our association can do. I can’t wait to share this idea and see the awesome results of your event.

You’ve shown so many delightful new things from the new catalog, I’m swaying between the cute pig stamps and the new Pick a pattern DSP with the adorable bear as to being the first thing on my June 1st order!

All the best from a very chilly Wellington.

  29. Hi Brian
Stampin Up just amazes me again this Annual catalog! There are so many wonderful things but my favorite is the Color Theory Suite. The Colorful Seasons Bundle has something for all year long and I especially love the chair Thinlit die. The paper stack is amazing with the color hue variations. ( reminds me of paint store samples) I do not recall anything like this before. The coordinating glitter dots & ribbons are a bonus. This suite includes the new Incolor Berry Burst, which I love. The new InColors are wonderful!
    Thanks, Dawn

I love them so much that I am doing two classes that feature them the week after I return home from my Summer o’ Travel For Trainings in August : ) I couldn’t wait to plan the class. I’ve already made the model cards, purchased the supplies and prepared all 20 supply packets. Did I mention how much I love these colors? 😉

I must thank you, Brian, for that link to the retiring bundles that are carried over separately into the new catty. Very useful.

  48. On first pass, it was the wooden crate, but since I am terrible about making 3D items, I would have to say it’s the Colorful Seasons bundle, thanks to all the great ideas out there!

  49. Kathleen Walton

WORDS…Just add Text will be a “must have” immediately for me. I have to confess, in the last two years, I’ve been a little disappointed with words/text. I even find myself searching out other places for them (my bad!). This coming catalogue has wowed me with words/sayings. I love “Just Breathe” !!! Thank you Stampin Up (new catalogue) for my intervention!!

  50. The new catalog is absolutely amazing and I must admit that the “Floral Statements” is #1 on my first order since I do a lot of “Thank You Notes.” Thanks for a chance to win this awesome blog candy.
