On Thursday, I shared a sweet Halloween project with an adorable jack-o-lantern face (you can see it here). Today I’m sharing a spooky Halloween card that’s not really THAT spooky because of the whimsical play on words with “wicked” – you see, some people use the term “wicked” to describe something that’s awesome (“your new car is wicked cool!”) Here’s my wicked card:
- Wonderfully Wicked. The Wonderfully Wicked Bundle includes the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set and coordinating Wicked Dies (a single word and a spider). Such fun! Here’s a look at this wonderful, new bundle:
I stamped the “Have a” and “good time!” from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set – but that’s not all. I also stamped a background of spooky bats with the image from the set. Take another look at the spider, bat and cat – such great images.
- Wicked Coloring. I scribbled on a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends (building a dark layer on the bottom and a light on the top) before cropping it with the “wicked” die from the bundle.
Here’s a closer look at the finished product – I was so happy with how this turned out:
- Halloween Color Combination. While I like to incorporate new colors into the holidays, sometimes a classic combination is just what we need. For this card, I pulled from the most standard shades of Halloween – Pumpkin Pie, Basic Gray and Basic Black. If you like this color combination as much as I do, please save this:
Bundles: Wonderfully Wicked Stamp Sets: Wonderfully Wicked Papers: Basic Gray, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White Inks: Tuxedo Black Memento, Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Accessories: Wicked Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
I love when products for a holiday can be used outside of that holiday – and I’m sure I can find some fun ways to use “wicked” when it’s not a spooky holiday.
Thanks for stopping by today!

As a New Englander, how could I NOT get this bundle?! Love your card and the brilliant ombré coloring with the blends. Great technique.
The “bat-tastic” background and ombre effect are wickedly creative!
