I wanted to start with a quick reminder that the Coordination Product Release is live today! Yesterday’s post shared a detailed view of all of these products – you can see it here. Click on the image below to see these items in my online store:
This is such a great collection of products that are offered on a “while supplies last” basis – so I hope you will get them now!
While most of my sales come from my blog, I do love the opportunity to get together with others and share the love of stamping. I have a local club that meets every month (and sometime every-other-month), and I have hosted several big events with demonstrators (World Card Making Day and Spring/Fall Stamp-Along Events). I don’t often host workshops, but when great friends ask…
Although I’ve worked with Liz as a customer for almost five years (can you believe that, Liz?!), I first met her when she came to Atlanta last Fall. We enjoyed lunch together, and I took her to my club meeting that Sunday afternoon. I loved hanging out with her so much! When she asked me to host a workshop for her in Tennessee, a road trip was in order. The workshop for Liz was hosted in “The Barn” which is an incredible event space her family owns in the Tennessee mountains. What fun!
Before I share some pictures from the event, I want to recap of the projects I made with this group – I’ve shared these with you over the past week (you can can click on any of the pictures to read my original post for each):
In addition to making all three of these projects, I gave a step-by-step demonstration of this card (you can click on the picture if you’d like to see my post about it):
Here are some fun pictures from the event – you’ll find a lot of fun smiles in these pictures:
Since they weren’t difficult to transport, I also packed my collapsible bins and Stamping Sponges for a fun sponge-toss game I have played at my World Card Making Day and Stamp-Along events. These ladies were up for a fun time. Here are some pictures:
It was such a fun time, and I can’t thank Liz enough for hosting. She was able to earn a lot of free product with her Stampin’ Rewards, and I was happy to share my love of stamping with this incredible group! After the orders were in, Liz treated the group to a gorgeous spread of food for lunch – soups, salads and sandwiches. What a great day! I’ll be heading back to Tennessee in August – that gives me a little time to create some more fun projects for this group. ♥
Thanks for stopping by today!
Brian

🙂 Thanks, Bette! I don’t normally love to travel, but this was such a great trip! Thanks for helping me brand it. 🙂
you sure know how to put on a good time!
It was SO fun, Mary! 🙂
What a fun event…with great projects, wonderful people and good food. What more could a crafty person want? I’m sure it was very memorable for all. Have a wonderful day!
Such a memorable trip! So happy we get to recreate it this Fall. Such fun! ♥
Looks like fun. We just moved to Eastern Tennessee, what part of TN were you in.
We were just East of Nashville. ♥
Looks like it was such a great event!!! Loved all the projects you created with them! Just to be able to stamp together like that has to be a blast!!!
It was a great time, Deanette! I was so happy with the turnout and a great mix of new and long-time stampers. What fun!
Well now, I think it should be a goal to help host an event in all fifty states. Let the countdown begin!
I can’t even imagine how exhausting that would be, but it would be a good time! ♥
Looks like you all had a rootin’ tootin’ great time! What fun! I need to learn how you did that game; it looks hilarious! Great job Mr. King. Simply awesome!
Thanks, Bobbi! I’d say it was as you have described. ♥ The game is a simple game of toss. One team member tosses the sponge, and their team member tries to catch it in the basket on their head. Can be great fun! ♥
Looks like fun!
